Lol... I do the same every year. I have to make up for the lack of hair on my head.

Mine started out of laziness about 6 years ago. I wait till October or November every year and just not shave until March or April.

My beard is a free thinker, but I don't try to reel him in. I let him be his own person and he hasn't let me down yet. Makes for eating donuts quite a challenge.

People think I hunt and watch Duck Dynasty. I've never done either once.

Mmmmm, I've been vaping my Gentleman's Reserve for a couple of hours now (arrived today, bottle says it was brewed back on Dec. 28th 2013).

Although this liquid has a high VG ratio (at least 50%, probably higher?), it comes out of the needle-nose bottle exceptionally well -- very nicely "thinned."

At 12mg, the TH pretty mild (fine by me).

The flavors are complex and delicious: oaky whiskey, vanilla, toasted almond . . . . luscious thick mouth feel (but NO greasy aftertaste) and copious vapor. I get no tobacco notes, but I'm primarily a tobacco vaper and hence accustomed to more forward tobacco taste. It starts out as quite sweet, but the sweetness recedes as you continue vaping.

I would absolutely recommend this juice to any fans of Castle Long Reserve, or of sweet, mild vanilla woodsy/tobacco vapes.

For me personally, I will not be able to vape this often because I have "issues" with high VG (it makes me queasy), and because the sweetener (sucralose?) in this juice does not agree with me, :(:(:(

That is a doggone shame, too, because GR is a real winner!

Per their site, all of their liquids are 50/50 PG/VG. Maybe that will help change your mind and you can vape it more? ;)

Thanks for all of the reviews of GR!! I am completely in love with CLR. I really don't even mind the 37.50 price tag (well maybe a little) because its so good. The problem for me with CLR are the availability issues. I just ordered 60mls of GR as a substitute. I really hope it is close in flavor. I will patiently wait for it to arrive and hopefully be ordering again from them soon!!

Oh, I'll finish this 30mls and lick my chops, but honestly, it still makes me a bit queasy (vg + sweetener issues).

But I'm just very weird that way; I'd still enthusiastically recommend this juice to others! :)

I'm weird with sweeteners as well, I blame my no processed diet. I only use natural sweeteners (raw honey, 100% maple organic syrup, etc) in my foods and baking. Artificial ones in foods make me feel sick immediately.

I've never tried Castle Long Reserve but I've been wanting to for several months. I never tried it because it wasn't offered in 18mg which is what I have been vaping until a couple weeks ago. I recently reduced my nic down to 12mg.

Anyway, this Gentleman's Reserve sounds like something I might really like. The descriptions from the members in this thread have convinced me to order a 30ml bottle and give it a shot. I'm excited to check it out. Hope it gets here soon.

They only offered "Standard Shipping". Anybody know if that's Priority Mail?

Got my Gentleman's Reserve today and had a chance to do some side by side comparisons with CLR and High Five. Added my review/comments to a thread started by Coelli over here: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...-castle-long-reserve-review.html#post12052843

Unfortunately I'm allergic to an ingredient in this juice, which totally sucks because it's really an exceptional vape. I'd love to swap someone for more of the Orchard Reserve if possible. I know this isn't the place to necessarily solicit trades, but I'm hoping someone might be up for it. Please don't reply, shoot me a PM if interested. It's such a damn good juice I can't bear to have it go to waste with me. Thanks!

So how often does 5-Pawns have Castle Long Reserve available on their website? How fast does it go once they do have it available?
It sells out within a couple of days after it gets posted for sale. Of course it depends on how much they make available. A batch is due out in Feb along with a few new flavors. I know its pricey, but they really do have some really nice e-liquids. I have high hopes for the Steam Co. If their GR is good, I am eyeing some other flavors!!

Sorry to hear! Do you have this allergy narrowed down?? Or is it something you just noticed as you were vaping this particular liquid?

Ya know, I am so doggone enamoured by this juice, I am seriously thinking about emailing the Steam Co. and asking if they could at least make me a few bottles at only 30VG!

Difficult part about that is they make the batches and age them in oak casks for close to a month. Maybe if you offered to buy a full cask? :p

Okay so I was wondering why their shipping was a tad higher than prices I've paid lately...it's 2 day priority :) Mine should be here tomorrow! Yay!
