Yeah I coil that with bailing wire. Wick it with a coal sack. Takes about 60ml to get the wick wetter than a fangirl at a Rolling Stones concert. It's the BEAST!!!
Glad you like it Momma...hehe

I know, but it's just not the same.
It is what we make of it.

Droped my new P67 the other night sitting on the can and it landed perfectly on its back on the hard tile floor! Hammertone finish!

Damn did I get lucky.. looked it over real good under light and not a single scratch, stuff or ding to be found!

Close one! Would of been ...... after just 2 weeks.

Hey Steam, I got the hammer tone too and it seems pretty hard. Mine hit the deck the other night and it survived unscathed but a tile floor is a true test. My first Grand LP black wrinkle is showing it's age and has been dropped 100 times but has never failed me. I worry more about snapping off an atty at the 510 than the Reo itself.

Good grief! I shudder at the thought of dropping a mod; Reo or otherwise. I'm paranoid about it; especially the Woodvils. I carry them around like Raw eggs. In 5 years, I think the only time I ever dropped a mod was in the parking lot at the golf course. It was a Provari, which was in a side pocket of my golf bag. It survived the fall with only the loss of one of the tiny screws that hold the window.

Hey Jet, good to see you here. I'm adjusting but not happily yet. When one thread get's everything crammed into it with 1000's of posts, it will be hard to find what your looking for. Great way to stay in touch but if I want to see a particular topic on something that's buried deep it will be a chore to find it again. Was that RM4 coil tweaking advice on page 97 or 197 or 497? I'll adjust eventually.

I try to be careful, but...well, whatever mod I take out as my "go everywhere" device is gonna get a little beat up.
I took my Grand on the road last week as usual.
And yep, dropped it. HARD, too - hard enough that there's a gouge in the Router drip tip, which is a pretty solid hunk of stainless. Anyway - the door wouldn't go down. Went UP OK, and fortunately, had a Nuppin on it, not a 22 mm atty. But would not go down, not a mm.

I have since repaired my Grand. Again.
How? Brute force.
Good as new.
THAT is why my Reo is a road unit - it's been dropped a dozen times, has a few scratches, and vapes perfectly.

My P67 is staying home for now - it's all shiney and perfect, lol...but we'll see...
