Oh dear! So unusual, and not something I've seen before on ECF, let alone in this happy part of it.

I liked Sloth, and he brought a lot of good things to the forum, including some humour.
He has had his 'off' moments though, and last night/yesterday wasn't a good day for some reason. It seemed to bring out the worst - for anyone who missed it, a post that was deleted was totally unacceptable.

Whatever your demons Sloth, if you're reading here still, I hope you resolve them, and that we'll see you back sometime.

For the record, I did not inform the moderators of the post. They monitor the forums themselves and don't need me to inform them of it. I was hoping sloth would remove his own post after I told him it was inappropriate. I am unsure what the "war with penguin" means. I was not aware we were at war with each other.

Pen, I took your post to be just as you said now and sorry that sloth got so derailed. And I know no one here would tell the mods anything as they are indeed always watching everything (as is their jobs) so there is never a need for that. And Clark being absent for the most part from the move probably couldn't intervene and stop the escalation...

Agreed -- wishing him the best -- physically, emotionally and spiritually.

Sloth was one of the first NT family I met and was really nice to me, but I too have had those nights where everything gets to me and I act out of place especially if you add some adult beverages in the mix. In fact there has been a few times I left a gaming group/guild/clan w/e over a bad night and said some pretty horrible and cruel things all of which I regretted the next day. Wish ya the best buddy hope to see you around in the future.

If you read back through his posts, it was a strange progression. He started off very articulate and well-spoken, then over time gave up on caps and punctuation. Then started referring to himself in the third person and writing like a caveman, then the random nonsensical stuff started. At first I thought maybe his account got hacked because the posts looked like something a spambot would write, but they were interspersed with semi-lucid/on topic posts. I don't know if it was deliberate on his part or a side effect of something else going on, but it's too bad either way.

Back on topic, congrats on the move, Clark - enjoy your fancy new digs!

Same here! Poor guy. As they say, the descent into madness is subtle, yet inevitable. I hope time away from the forum will be beneficial, and his recovery is prompt. He was one of the first to post on my desperate 'need to find a new bakery flavor' thread recommending Nicoticket's CLS (a slow descent into madness itself).

I'm a bit confused about the post of Sloth's that was removed. IIRC, it was lyrics/poem (terms used loosely) that sort of resembled something by Bruno Mars. Not that I'm any authority on Bruno Mars, mind you. But the post made me curious enough that I googled a couple selections from Sloth's "poem", and his was one name that came up as having similar lyrics.

Excerpts from the deleted(?) post:
"I love the sound of your laughter you hear your voice fills my entire heart...", and "You look at me the way I am, I love what you see, I love your beautiful eyes, I love the way you...".

Only thing I can guess is maybe the offending post had been replaced with what I read. Because although the post I read was somewhat disjointed, I didn't see anything that would be construed as offensive...

I think it's over and done with now Cobalt. I saw one of the more problematic posts from another thread, and it was unfortunately very inappropriate. I'm not sure where Sloth's head was at with all this, but I wish him the best on his travels.

BOT - I don't have much Switch so I'm letting it steep some before I give it another romp. Will let y'all know how it turns out when I fire this back up. I was in the camp of folks this didn't quite hit for - not bad, but a bit overpowering.

While I missed most of this, I'll agree that the Slothman is/was a bit of an enigma and that in the end, he will find his way.

Im gonna have to switch back to the switch. If I had another reo avoid having to switch to the switch and switching back to the switch, I'd make the switch, but I'll have to keep switching back to the switch and switchy schwicthin with the virus till then... they cross over well with another...(I don't rinse out the feedtube) but I seem to be a "purist" for the most part and like NT flavors on their own 80% of the time... except for a drop here and there, especially cheesecake, ect...or not changing a wick if the flavors might meld nicely..

My friend, whom is making the switch from analogs to vaping, said he liked the switch a lot the last time we talked... he is sick right now, with ammonia (been about a month)... so its pretty hard for him to vape... coughing...ect... Said it reminded him of "caramel"... (in a CE4 clearomizer)... wish I hadn't sold my MVP, so I could give him that along with my ole' KFL or Nautilus... Not quite sure how I could help otherwise... I hated those first few days of vaping... it was rough/harsh... (especially with his current device/ the one I used too) plus he's really sick!

Well, he's doing a bit better all around, having not smoked an analog the entire time I saw him tonite. I guess he was vaping the switch- didn't get around to asking, but it looked like it!

Ill give him a care package of the virus/the switch the next I see him... hopefully, he will start dealing with NT, if I stop hooking him up! Too bad he won't be able to buy the switch directly, ATM! Ill try to get a report out of him, on his thoughts of the switch since he's had it (~4 weeks 15+ml)...

I got desperate and traded for some NZ Switch... I got a very small bottle of 100mg nic & added enough to make the 50 mL bottle of nz into 5mg, let it steep for a week, and it's perfect. I was afraid adding nic would change the flavor, but I didn't notice a thing.
It's just getting better and better...

You can do the same thing with flavors that are a bit too strong in nic for you. Add some unflavored and let it steep 2 weeks. You won't hardly notice a change in flavor in some, and none at all in others (GCD, Virus)

I use zero nic unflavored to take 6mg down to 3mg on flavors. I believe some members also do the same with pure VG to reduce PG due to sensitivities. I have to let mine steep a couple more weeks after I add the unflavored to get good flavor throughout except with GCD.

Try it on a really small amount and see. You won't lose much that way. If the flavor is light to start with, it probably won't help to add unflavored.

NT juices are pretty flavorful, I'm sure most of them can stand up fine to a bit of dilution with unflavored. Many other liquids are lighter in flavor and the dilution may make them even more so. I think Penguiness has the right idea - try it with a very small amount of juice and see what happens - if you can live with the results, you're golden!

After thinking about it, I decided to not try it. I have some other juices that I love but they're 16mg. I don't want to give them up because they're almost full bottles. So I went and purchased 0's in the same flavor to get the Nic level down to at least 8 but that didn't work either. The peppery flavor of the 16 is still there even after reducing. Funny how they were soo good when I did 16mg Nic but now that I'm at 6 they're not so good anymore. I guess I'm going to PIF them.
