The taste and smell of PG from a pharmacy

Guyz,

I bought some PG from a Walgreens pharmacy and it smells strong with an odor I can't identify and it doesnt' taste very good either. I thought that it was pretty much flavorless. It's USP too as it should be. Does anyone have any and does it have a strong flavor and smell too?

I would bring it back and have the Pharmacist take a sniff. It shouldn't have an odor.

Is anyone out there that actually DIYs and knows if it is supposed to be odorless and tasteless?

I bought some from Happy Vaper and it is odorless. Haven't mixed anything with it yet.

The PG I got from Tractor Supply has no odor and no taste. Colorless too.

Sounds like you got the wrong stuff.

I've heard of it going bad, but never seen it happen.

Like said, it should have no odor. When vaped, there should be no taste at all by itself.

Yeah, I got the right stuff as it shows USP on the bottle, but I think it's old or something. I'll take it back and buy elsewhere. Thanks for the input guys!

The PG I got from my pharmacy actually has a warning printed on the label that says "Do not ship or store with poisonous or ill-smelling articles. This product may be used in foods, feeds, drugs or their containers." I'm guessing that it can pick up the flavor from something stored next to it and that may be what happened to yours. I'd definitely take it back and speak to the pharmacist about how they store their products.

I got up with the mfg. They had me take it back to Walgreens and want WG to send it to them. They are going to test it and get back with me on the results.

Got some from Happy Vaper and no matter how hard i tried, i could not smell anything so ya, ill go with odorless too.

I have some that says "feed grade" no smell, but tastes like e-liquid. Havent tried vaping it yet. It was in the house here we recently rented. BONUS
