Well, when you first start, know that smoking has damaged your taste buds. Nothing is going to taste good right away generally depending on how much you smoked and for how long. Next, it depends on where you got your juice. Some places (good ones) hand mix their flavors and they might need to "steep" for a couple of days. The burnt taste might come from your atty if there wasn't enough juice in it. Also, did you blow the atty out first to get the "shipping juice" out of it?

sounds like you might have primer in the atomizer that the manufacturers put in there for shipping. best way is to rinse under HOT water for about 30 seconds and blow it all out as best you can. then put it on your battery and do a "dry burn" which is hold the button down for about 10-12 seconds while blowing on the atomizer until you see it start to glow red. then add a drop of juice and put the cartridge on and you should be good to go.

what flavors do you have?

Hot water will not damage your atomizer. They're actually pretty tough when they aren't being used. It's only when we're using them that we have to treat them with care. I've rinsed many atomizers and I also soak them in 91% Isopropyl Alcohol for about 15 minutes once a week or so. It doesn't hurt them at all. I usually just blow out new atomizers unless they're absolutely dripping with oil.

+1 on what they said above. You should not get a burnt taste.

Reasons for burnt taste:
1) Atty too dry... add a drop or 2 of liquid directly into the atty... right on the bridge (the center thing that sticks up.. in case you haven't heard the term)
2) Something is burning/melting. You could have dry filler material on the bridge or in the atty. Use tweezers to get any little "hairs" out. Also, check that the plastic on the cart is not melted.
3) Add drops to the filler material on the cart... or you can remove the filler material completely and just drip 3 drop into the atty. vape. Drip 3 in... vape.....

If you can't get rid of the burnt taste.... blow out a new atty, put 3 drops in it, 1 drop on the cart filler and vape. Still get a burnt taste?

Good Luck!
