Hi,

I made these to send to family and friends to get them to go to CASAA and find out about what they can do to stop the FDA from turning the e-cig industry over to Big tobacco. CASAA's much better at explaining what's going on than I am. If you like these please spread 'em around where you think they'll do the most good.

As you are aware, on April 25, 2014, the FDA released a proposed rule which would change the statutory definition of "tobacco products" to include electronic cigarettes. The public comment period on this proposed rule will remain open until July 9, 2014. I would encourage you to share your thoughts about this proposal with the FDA directly. Please know that I appreciate you passing along your concerns about this proposal. I will be sure to keep your views in mind should the Senate consider legislation related to the regulation of electronic cigarettes.

Well Paws, at least it looks like someone actually read your email. There is hope yet, though I note he did not express anything like a position.
