i don't actually know how to compile an install for linux. i looked it up and had someone try to explain it on linuxquestions.org but they must not have noticed i posted in the noob section because he ended up talking about terminal, as if i knew how to do anything in there, lol.

lol... i understand. It seems intimidating at first, but it's actually pretty straight forward once you've done it a couple times. And even though you don't need terminal to 99% of what you need, when you start to learn it, you'll love it for its simplicity.

I can walk you through it. There's a chance it's already been compiled for your distribution and already in your package manager. PM me with details and I'll do some of the leg work for you.

(what version, distribution Ubuntu/PCLinixOS etc... )

...Also, it's 4th of July weekend. I was hoping maybe I'd get it on Saturday, but I doubt USPS will deliver the day before the 4th. *sigh*....

My new black and platinum Rivas (batts/cones only) arrived yesterday...but my eGo charger mysteriously died.

Quickly fired off an order for a new eGo charger (eGo/Riva totally cross compatible) to VaporKings thinking I can make to Monday w/ a fully charged eGo and the factory charge in my new Rivas

...and now you remind me that monday is a usps holiday...arrrgh!

I also have a fairly large order of juices etc from DIY FlavorShack (over $100) coming in today...no charger...arrgh!!

Guess I gotta go tinker w/ my old charger!

I just received my new SideSho from ModernVapor on Friday...

And what can I say, I'm HOOKED!

This is my first experience with a PV and I'm more than happy. I've only had 2 analogs since, and it was only because I felt a wee-bit "out of place" when we were bar hopping earlier this week. But once I had a "few" in me (and my nervousness disappeared haha) I took it out and couldn't believe the amount of people who were so interested.

My boss is the one that got me into this - She bought a Joye510 because she was going on a trip in a rental car and couldn't smoke in it. Since then, she's never put it down! We just love exchanging information about them, and trying each other's new flavors. We love being able to smoke in the office, instead of going outside.

All in all - so far it has been a great experience, and I can't wait to continue my flavor quest <3
