I think I would have taken that one to my grave.
I am scrupulously paranoid about using my PVs in any situation where there is the possibility I could kill it, and so far it's worked. I haven't lost a single device to a watery grave. I did beat the crap out of an eGo when the sidewalk suddenly rose up to meet my foot once, but apart from a couple of battle scars, it still worked fine.
I would recommend not using it anymore, especially if there was a duece in there. 
TMI, I know: I work crosswords in the bathroom, lol. Once I dropped a fountain pen in the bowl. 8^O Luckily it floated. I washed it with alcohol, as it was dear to me.
If that happens to my cheap PV, it's history. I have other cheap PVs.

Same thing happined to my Lava tube. Fished it out took out batteries dried it packed it in rice for 24 hrs carto in trash and It worked fine. Felt funny using it tho so was retired and new one gotton.
