Hello brothers and sisters,
I would like to share with you my experience with electronic cigarettes, specifically Cignot. My story is quite awesome (at least it made my heart tickle).
I am 24 years old, healthy, optimistic and just eager to adventure in life. I picked up analog smoking (couldn't wait to use that term!) during a trip to Manhattan, New York. This was about 5 months ago, and I was smoking a pack of Dunhills every three days or so. The nicotine along with a cup of good cha (tea) was just a supreme combination..
Anyways, 5 months later my story begins. I wake up one fine morning, and feeling liver butchered from the previous night of drunken debauchery- I grab for my Dunhills. Something just hit me.. I lit it, took a puff and just said.. I can't do this anymore. My friend and I go to eat at Egg Harbor, and on the way out I said, "let's go to Cignot, I'll try this change" (my friend had recently made the change and I really was digging the vaping). On the way to the store, we pass by a fountain with cubscouts and their parents. I was smoking my, soon to be, last analog and walking past this group I hear "Donate 3 dollars and get a free cup of hot cocoa to help fight LUNG CANCER!".. About 20 feet past them, I said.. this is definitely my last sign.. I put it out, dispensed in the garbage (and I was ALWAYS at least good about not contributing to the pollution of cigarette butts in the street- yay me). We walk into Cignot, and there begins my journey! First off, I had no cash on me. I did have a credit card but I was maxed out on my limit. My friend originally told me they were willing to do a payment plan on something even (something I wanted to take them up on, but decided not to add to my already long list of finances in music gear). Three charming gentlemen greet me with enthusiasm. I managed to get to the owner/manager Dennis and tell him my situation. I am an honest, genuine person and I told him whats up. I said that I can't smoke anymore, I don't want to, and that I want to purchase a kit however would need to grab cash from my house a few miles away. I was desperate and knew that leaving that store empty handed I would inevitably smoke more cigarettes. So this is what happens. Dennis reaches in his pocket, cleans out the entire piece, puts in a new atomizer, and packs a new headpiece with some pomegranate. He hands it to me. I insist on leaving my ID and my credit card, of which he did not accept. He had not the slightest idea of who I was, but I was with my friend who was a regular. I told him, "I will be back within a few hours". I got a reading from him that he believed me, but had a little skepticism. He picked up on my energy though. His one stipulation was that I leave my pack of Dunhill's with him, which I did- no problem!
Sure enough, I come back 3 hours later, and purchase a kit. I even was given some free stuff along with it.. The customer service at this place is outlandish. I have never in my life been taken care of so well. They are eager to please!
I have been vaping since. I have not smoke one analog since, nor have the desire to! I did have some withdrawal symptoms from what I understood to be the massive amounts of chemicals in analogs. Being also sensitive to substances, I was having difficulty adjusting to the proper MG, and also with the anxiety from the withdrawal- questioned every puff I took. I eventually got calibrated and have enjoyed every second since.
- My breathing is better
- My singing is better! (this was a huge issue as I am a vocalist also)
- My body feels better
- I'm just overall better!
Now, I originally intended on kicking nicotine completely, and may end up doing so one day- but I find that nicotine (and most respectively clean nicotine from vaping) does WONDERS for my ADHD. I also have an extreme fixation to just smoke, and I feel that this is the safest route.
All in all, thanks for letting me share my story. Here's another example of a great transition. There's so many other benefits, like being able to vape inside a bar, while the rest go freeze outside! (muahaha!). I have since talked up and shared Cignot with every very usual approach about what I have in my hands.
Go vaping. Go Cignot. Go community! I'm enjoying 25mg Pomengranate/Chocolate as I write!
Thanks guys! I look forward to being actively engaged with you all.
Here's a nice picture that Dennis wanted me to share with you, and to send to him for their own use! This was taken during my break at work (I work at a restaurant as host/server).. The bucket is a collection that I added to, along with all the others.. This one will make you feel GOOD!

Love and Cignot!!
