Darling continued to talk to Theo, when he mentioned that his mentor was to go to Rome; it really peaked her interest. She had been there and said "Continue." Theo got up from his bed and came close to the bars, Darling stood. "Can we go for a walk?" Theo asked and the bars opened as well as the door.

Theo walked past the guards frozen, heavily armed. And started down the stairs. "The birds this time of morning are so cheerful." He stopped and said. "You can fly." Darlings eyebrow lowered as she watched him, she was dressed still in Jeans, but her shirt changed, her hair made by others and braided by her children. Her servant was told there she watched her. She walked down the stairs.

Theo continued as they went down. "You probably want to know how the water started?" He turned and said. "I'm not so stupid as you think." He walked down and Darling followed and finally down the stairs, and he saw the servants all colors and genders.

He stopped to the fruit first and grabbed a strawberry. "These are good." He ate one and grabbed the grapes that were fresh. He ate those as well. My mother was a defender of the wall, but she has a bigger story to be told. Theo sat as Darlings boots softly echoed in the chamber.

Theo closed his eyes and started to focus and she Darling sat next to him, he didn't care. "Tom went to war more than once. He was proud that he never failed, a fine man a type with even a morning hair on his face you would just let be.....

He went to what she saw a trance. "Grunk and I where working together, but he was so big and strong but slow due to the attack, wanted me to play. This was the first time in my life in which someone did not want me work.. So he special to me. Anyway.

Ted went for his family with speed, he had extra horses ordered by the queen at that time. And he came close to his home, Spanish built and nice, for the time. The soldiers came off their horses and gave respect to the lady of the house. She bade them to come forward, a meal was already. She placed her hand on Ted, she knew if he was coming home it was important. She sat beside them, she had already eaten and washed.

She watched him eat, his face turned to her, she saw the fear for the first time in his eyes. "Honey what's wrong?" Ted started to tear she knew it was real. "Get... Get all of you out and head south, He was a general of a large army. He pointed. "This army has come faster than any we have seen before. I feel like this time I will die."

She grabbed him close and hugged him, "You will not." his guards watched without word, they saw in his face the fear he had for them all of them. He stood and wiped his face from the food. "Right"
He kissed his wife and she said, "Do not let this be the last time."

And battle was on his mind, and said. "Get all of them out of this house go south, he pointed to a point she understood." "Ladies good day we need all the luggage all of it", the house got busy fast, he was listening as the bustle started.

Ted was talking to his guards. "Have we heard word from the majesty?" A guard said. "No sir we have not." Ted looked at his wife, his children; he started to wonder if it was worth it. She looked at him and nodded yes.

"Men, women we have a fight on our hands, something I have not seen before, they burn all, like they don't care. So what I have been thinking like this.... He explained it the guards listened. Ted watched as the house was fast being dissembled. His wife said. "I know you can can keep your secret." Ted went back to map and fowled it back.

Right gentlemen we are going to need to dig. "Dig?" "Yes, they that way their forces no matter how many will die before they get to our lines. Here let me show you" he pointed and looked as his wife wife was about to go. He stood erect over her, they hugged and she said.

"You will come home to me, you will." Ted stood as he watched the household leave. He turned back to the table. "Guards..... we buy time for the future."

They nodded, and went back to their station it was not like what he had before, Ted got on his in horse. "say the word." Of all of the army the the drummer young was most revered. He kinda coughed and started to play a song. A guard on horse had a flute and started. "Right."

They were close according to what he knew, and came to the proposed battlefield. Ted got off his horse and past all the others, if they had more information than he he wanted to see. He looked "The trees." What the envoy said. "The trees, we will use the trees." the envoy was trying to stop and he put up his hand. "No."

He walked past the camp, men and woman looked at him pass. He went to the end of the camp, he grabbed a piece of barley and sniffed it. He thought on it and finally. "Dig here, and here, here and here." and they watched as he got on fire, he wanted to be back with his wife and children. The first time he thought he would die by years of training.

"Sir would you like your helmet?" No he grabbed a sword and started to dig hard his hands where starting to bleed, "I'm going to see my wife again." the other soldiers took his sword and started to dig, he watched as they did as he said. He watched the in amazement they did want to pass this day. Ted stood and watched as he spotted the field. "There will be their whole army."

He knelt down and saw a plant and sniffed, hmmm wild basil.

He watched the whole day, if they did not eat he did not. If they had that strength so did he, he stood and watched them work, the ladies of the camp kept them fed and watered. They knew their duty. He watched and one came begging. "Eat."

"I can't until my army eats before me." She knelt before him, he said. "Stop, come back to me, who are you?" She stood before him and handed him some bread, please eat she said. Ted took a bite. "This is good, can you make this for a whole army?" Yes she nodded. "Good." Ted said as he watched and took a nap for about three hours; and up back at night.

"They are coming from here the north as I am sure know. No longer is nobility that day is gone. He pointed, and asked if they were were ready? "Yes sir and they came to put his armor, stop. I will go out for my queen and king unarmed and try to for peace."

Ted went on horse like the rules implied. He got down. He sat and was given a cup. "Do you wish to give up now before your whole army is destroyed?" Ted took the glass from them it was wine he sipped and it was good but he stood. "Good luck." He got on his horse and went to the camp, the woman were busy, very busy, adding more food for them to eat. And Ted stood he closed his eyes and said a prayer; knelling he ask one thing.

"Let me see my wife again." He had heard about it, the fire at night faster than any could counter. He watched as his trap began, the few men he asked who would give life but life a life's pay. In the dark as their troops came close, they waited knowing they would have to run for their lives. The rest of the army was to insure that they would on the death. And they tensed.

"Ready sir. The fire started in the trees, the oil they poured ignited it faster and the screams of men filled the air, flesh burning off. Ted got on his horse and said. "You know your duty this is to maintain humankind." "Men to the castle!" they knew him and were ready to before he said so. Ted smiled and bowed to those who were the rear guard their lives would buy them time.

He came to the castle walls, not as tall as he would like, there was flames fire burning. He heard the crackling. He heard a cry. He started to draw his sword.

Theos mother had a long day and wanted another bath, she felt good that she could and against her own words fell asleep in the bathwater; it felt so good. Theo tired of them telling him to get stronger grabbed his own sword.

Abby sat in the bath it felt good, and there was a knock on the door, expecting more hot water. He came in, he punched her in face. "Your lying ......" You said this was the trade and he punched her again. He grabbed her dazed.

He spread her legs, "I will make a baby for you." Theo walked down the hall he saw the door and opened it, his eyes got big. He thrust his sword down into his back, this made him pause and he did it again and again, the blood coming to face; saving his mother.

"Help! Help! Abby turned to him over dead, blood all over the floor. "Theo are you okay?" He was in adrenaline mode. He dropped the knife and came closer to her the blood all over them. "Theo promise me you wont say a word?"

The door opened as the owner came in from the kitchen. "Oh my god, what happened?"
He was raping me, I killed him. she grabbed Theo, and his mind changed.

Ted knew the locations of the castle and the area. He came to the door and saw them all. Abby stood naked and covered by blood came closer to him and took some and drew on his face birds flying. She turned, already married Ted turned his eyes, she got back in the bath still warm.

Going in again she washed the blood from her body, Theo looked at them. "Come with me young man." Theo was still covered in blood and he stopped. "I need to bath as well." His adrenaline had stopped and he went back into the bathroom. Abby kissed him on the forehead, he unclothed and went to the bath.

The owner said. "Well I guess I will make a meal good for all." She knew it would be long. She took the oldest she had the best would be for later. Abby clothed in linen put on her all her weapons. Her two oldest sons saw her, she said. "Not yet."

Abby walked out the room down the wooden stairs and walked right through the horse poo. That would be used for fire later and she smelled her hair.

Ted watched as she knelt to the ground, she stood and said loudly. "Runner." He was fed and bristling in muscle and came close to her, she grabbed him and went to the wall. "I'm ready." Ted nodded he knew as he watched the sun go down.

The fires in the distance started to open up and flowed around both sides, Abby watched as he did. "They will do this until we are surrounded." Abby watched, she turned to a young man, "Would you fetch all my arrows?"

His eyes got big all of them, she knew. "Don't give me all them right now, just what you can grab" He left and as Abby watched they went around the whole walls, the man who built it was smarter than her she knew it know. In time the arrows were fetched and her sons all three came to her.

They came as Ted watched she took her bow and one arrow. Her hair flowed in the wind and she listened and took the bow back all the aimed. She let loose, a moment a later. At the fire in the distance fell a body she did not know if it was a man or woman or child, it no later matter. This time there was no more running, it was fight or die.

She chose fight, her sons came closer to her, and Ted stood with at the gate facing north. "Boys listen to me. When they come to the wall, if you hesitate you will die." An elder lady started incense she knew the dead stunk. Ted watched as they came into line all around them.

He took his flag and placed it on the wall, the flag had a Lion on it, the crest of a shield and with a cross white and red. The men came to the wall and filled it full, the horses waited for the riders and Ted turned in the fire he could see them resting on the ground and was glad they were saving all their energy for what was to come.

The first skirmishers came close as arrows hit around them, a horse yelped as hit, the arrows were painted black to not be seen at night, the men got down on the wall as did she, another wave. Thousands came and then it finally softened and Abby stood. "They just spent most of them."

Abby grabbed one of them and turned it around to make sure it was good as the first wave came. "Men ready." Ted said, as they came and the arrows flowed again and in the distance the builder had watched before he said "Loose" and trebuchets slung their large rocks, many more than Abby expected. They flew past them and arching came down hard and some rolled.

She watched as some fell falling in pain, others had already died. Grunk came close to Theo he tapped him gently. To the walls they came, Abby took her bow and watched, she aimed and let loose, one down, she grab another two down, she grabbed another, and as she loosed she felt one pass by her head.

They got nearer to wall, the men were finally armored and got on their horses, a spirit cry was let loose and the gate was opened, just as they came towards it. The first thing they let loose was a chain of arrows and many fell and the horses went forward......

knocking down many with swords slinging, the arrows to far to effect theme. Abby watched as they went forward, Runner was prancing ready to get into it. And soon they were in trouble as the trebuchets were armed again and loose. they went forward and then it happened. The guard was gone, and they outnumbered.

The ladders pre made came to the wall, more than Abby was shooting down at them. Her elder son went down with his sword, "No!" Grunk followed with a huge wooden hammer, and the gate started to bend in, others tried to hold them. "Men it his has been an honor." Ted stood at them Abby kept firing down and then to to the sides as the came over the walls.

A arm was hacked off, blood spurted. He cried in pain and his arm gone with sword Abby shot the woman in the head. She felt dead the man cried as she saw more pour over. She was starting to get low on her arrows and went down as man and woman struggled to the death. She stood as a another quiver came to her. The gate broke.

"Loose!" the rock was just right inside the gate and she watched closely as the rock hit many, the maiming was horrific to her eyes, and her older son, wanted to save them got it wrong and went forward. Grunk followed screaming.

The female lighting incense after they had spent time together, she was pregnant and not able to help as much as she wanted, her water broke. "Oh no, Oh no, oh no." She backed up carrying her stomach and to the back of the wooden building, the owner helped her down on a seat, she grabbed fast towels and water. Breath.

"Fall back, fall back and guts were spilled over the ground the dying laid moaning the wounded crawled away. And to the wooden building Abby came with Theo in hand, her two others sons were fighting by sword and just as they came into the main room. Close and she dug her dagger into a head another, she spun, another dead.

She cut the calf of another as she came and he fell took it and cut a woman's arm, she went back as Grunk came through the door, Theo with his brothers fell back and were in the room, his eldest brother went to help Grunk but it was to late. Grunk went to the place he liked best and fell down, Theo went close to him as he let his guts spill to the ground as his energy was spent.

Theo grabbed him by the face, "Stay with me, stay with me." Grunk sputtered blood from his mouth Theo held him as he watched him die in front of his face. He stood, in a trance he walked forward as his brothers fought, swords slinging Abby shooting arrows as fast as she could; Ted went forward yelling and then it stopped.

The commander of the army raised his arm, and they left; tested enough and by the time they would find out the main city would already be in ruins. Theo went outside the new morning light started his face accepted the light. He saw the building on fire outside. That was the food was kept.

The elder man came as he watched as the dead were being taken. "We need a storage for food inside." He placed his hand on shoulder and turned him and Theo walked dead eyes. "Here and imagine the tallest person needs to go under your steps, and deep.

Theo thought of Grunk as the biggest and began to dig, he dug all day. His brothers came close to him and they took turns and as the day passed they had dug deep, so much that they need ropes and a bucket to take out the soil. Theo kept at it he had a new a meaning to his life to provide safety for all he cared for for, his soon to be wife watched.

She watched as the fire burned, as it dwindled she heard a muffled scream. "I will make him speak." She nodded. "Estou preparado para iso, falará." He spoke the tongue, and a scream was soon heard inside, she looked as the blade was in his leg and in pain looked up with his eyes covered in rage, painted blue.

She shut the door and as she walked back, Theo came to her and to the door as he opened it, he saw the man being tortured. "What is his name?" He heard and stood coming to the door he said. "I am Doom, and I bring wrath wherever they come."

Theo backed out as he saw that the man was tied to the chair, she took him away and to the woods.

Theo worked on the new storage and went down as the sun dropped and it became dark. Now they need the rope and the bucket to go down and up. Theo went down and began to dig, and he stopped. "Get me out of here." His brothers tired awoke more, "What?" "Get me out of here, pull me up." They pulled him up and saw that he was wet.

"What is it?" "You will see soon." and the water filled the hole and started to pour out. "Oh no." He watched as the water started to pour out towards the swordsmiths shop, they need fire not water. He covered his mouth. "Their going to kill me." The elder man came closer. "No you just became their savior." He took a little wooden tool and placed it in the water flowing freely.

It spun. "Free energy, and water to feed the plants." Abby came close she watched as the water flowed down. She took his hand and raised it. "This is your king, the one who wants to feed and water you!" Ted understood what he saw fresh water flowed and knelt down, his brothers did as well. The elder man came to next to Theo, "See what happens when you try?"

Ted got up and motioned to the one carrier he had left and wrote a note that later would be taken by the other side, that city and all their inhabitants would be gone in a few days.

Morning they have been cutting my hours as business is slow and one manager went way over on the employees time, so will still be looking for another, but should make rent. Whoooo. What has become a chore?

All right what was PM'd to Blue and Slowone..... what you missed that explains Doom better.

Doom sat at his oak desk he was looking at the laptop and watching over the orders given him, when there was a knock at the door. "Enter." He grabbed a pen from his desk and looked up and said. "What?" He looked at the man in front of him sternly. "She is alive again." "What? I am so tired of this." The man said "We have a present for you." Doom stood a present it had been a long time and he followed them out the door and down the inside balcony down the steps. The carpet soft to their steps, the sounds of soft music playing in the air. Trixy by the fireplace stoked the fire and turned, she smiled.

Doom saw her and curious followed down, down to the bottom and the door opened. Doom stood erect. "Well well." He came to a chair and sat down, the woman was bound by rope. Her wrists tied to the chair, her waist; feet and also in her mouth and around her head.

"You know I heard about this torture, and have always wondered which is worse, the pain that is. So I want you to be honest I have someone in particular I want to get." Soft spoken Doom was ever congenial in his death to the other.

"This is a simple contraption, with two wing nuts you just turn them and the blocks of solid wood come together." He spun two sets down on her hand and two more to her other. "The ropes around your head covering your mouth, when pulled will crush your skull bones into your brain killing you; but before that a lot of pain."

He spun the two butterfly nuts down on her right hand and stopped as he heard her try to scream in pain muffled. "Look me in the eye." "Pull" The ropes around her head tightened, on rollers made of solid wood, it did not make much to do it. He twisted on the screws and finally the ligaments went and the bone, the skin broke and blood.

She looked down at her hand as it was crushed. "Look at me in the eyes." Her forearm quivered as the pain signals went up her arm. Doom looked her in face, "Turn." The ropes pulled tighter on her hand as he spun the screws on her other hand; the other gone. She tried to scream the pain get intense. The pressure on her head was getting to be to much and a blood drop came out her nose and ear. Shaking in pain.

She looked at her hand again and this made Doom mad, "Pull! Look me in the eyes." And her bones crushed into her brain, the pressure caused blood to shoot out and it covered him on the face and clothes. He looked down and stood up, she was dead in the chair. "I can't believe this she bled on me." He went up the stairs and Trixy was waiting.

She opened the door for him, and he saw the warm bath with bubbles. "Bubbles." "I like them, so do you." Trixy said as he sat down, she gently touched him the scars on his backside from whipping would be there for life. "Do they hurt?" "Not today." He said as she gently bathed him, Trixy how many have you killed. "I don't know."

Theo watched the next morning, the wounded and dead were being attended to Tom nicknamed Ted came close to him and said. "Unfortunately this is fact." Theo watched as the dead were stripped naked, the armor would be needed for others, and carried outside the wall, the wounded begged for aid and water.

The water did flow and his mentor said. "Do not worry, it will soften the soil and we can use it. Nurses grabbed buckets of water in wooden pails and brought them to the wounded, some he watched died the moment the water was given, and then heads bowed they were taken outside.

Theo walked and watched both them and the blue were stacked on the wood, twigs below them. "What is happening?" He asked. Abby put her arm on his shoulder as Tom said. "Tradition says marriage is a right but death is a passage." He watched as the sun went down and it got dark, the fire was started and he watched the fire rise and consume their bodies. Their fats sizzled in the fire.

Death was now on his mind and he wanted to dearly protect his family as he saw Grunk's body burn. "If we did not do this, the curse of death would get us all." Tom said. And Theo nodded, fire cleansed death. He sat and waited he knew where Grunk's body was. He stayed up all night and the fire lowred and lowered and he finally got up as the heat from 40 feet before lessoned and he grabbed ash and placed it in a bowl gently.

He wanted to be careful with Grunk. He watched him die, closer than any other. He slowly filled the bowl and finally stood, he placed the lid back carefully and felt a life within. He looked up and did not know what to do, his mother had stayed at a distance watching with tom, they held each other over the night. She came closer.

"Theo." she said gently "Are you okay?" He turned and looked at her concerned. "How do I honor him?" Abby smiled and gently put her hands on his face, he was perfect to be king. Tears started to come to his eyes and his arms started to shake, Abby took the bowl and placed it on the ground, and then it happened he wept heavy hard, and started to cry hard. "Let it go Theo." He cried hard and went down. "Let it go."

His brothers both sore came close to him, the crying of the wounded still in the background, he was young and yet learning life in almost a day. He cried and cried, Abby knelt and took him in her arms and started to rock. "It is okay, it is okay." He looked up at her. "How? He is gone. He was my friend." His head turned again his grief real.

Abby put her hand to her mouth, she felt his pain and could not take it and stood. She almost dropped the bowl and as her hands shook her older son came to her and placed his hand on her. "Mother it will be okay." She let loose of the bowl and wanted to run and turned. Tom stood and shook his head no. He whispered in her ear. "If you want him to be king, you must be a strong mother."

She turned and saw Theo kneeling on the ground, she said. "Get up." He turned to her and saw she had cried. "Get up, get up!" He stood but not strong, "The bowl!" Lattrell gave it to her and she handed it to Theo. "Take this to the river; where he will feed earth." That rung with Theo and he sorta calmed and started to walk. What he did not understand was the music as they went, it was a celebration; and as he went he felt more concerned about not dropping the bowl.

Being night he carefully walked as all others followed and finally to the river. Theo gently got on his knees and gently laid the bowl down. "Thank you for saving me. Thank you for saving my family." He gently poured the ash into the river and for some reason felt like washing the bowl in the water. He turned, sounds as Abby came close. "Watch this, it is not the season to morn this is the season to celebrate" as young woman danced naked around a pole with rope and string.

"What is this?" "Nature never be ashamed of yourself, death happens; but also life and he watched as a wedding took place." "Tonight they will birth a baby, well in time."

"How?" "One day you will know." Tom came and sat next to her in the night. She looked at him. "Are you okay?" Tom nodded and said. "Yes my wife and family went to the main city it is stronger than this."
