At subohm levels there is no way the nano coil could keep up with the small wick running through it, imo

In my head with this setup it seems the best way to wick is to just wrap the nano, basically stuff cotton in between the two coils. That leaves the outside of the big coil open to airflow and the inside of the nano to chuck vapor out. Idk if that really explains it right though.

that^^ is what i did... i rolled a long length of cotton... inserted the end between the coils, pushed it through to the edge of coil then snipped... same again... but then i started snugging the rolls together with a prodding tool untill it was full..

i think you could get this turbine to work if you had the right ratio of wire/size and ohms between the 2 coils... not sure ...but it might be worth an experiment... when it did work for me i got good taste

Negative. The nano is way too small to wick fast enough. Leave wick OUT of the nano, just put the wick between the two coils.

i dont think anyone is putting wick inside the nano on this turbine build  ...but! i have used 1mm id nano's in the past with internal wick no problem if you know what not to do :)

In my limited experience I get some nasty burnt hits when I wick inside the nano because the cotton could t keep up with the heat. I was more aiming that towards the other guy because he said wick the nano then slip some cotton between the coils as well.

Exactly, like this :) after using it the only issue was that there wasn't a whole lot of wick so you end up dripping often. Great flavor though :)

i did 32g nano with 28g outer, my outer coil was open coiled.... i think it was 0.7 or 0.8 but had prob's with the coils not heating up together so unless i was doing super short pulls i would get dry hits :(

I was thinking of building this again as you describe but with the gauges switched, 32G for the Macro coil and 28 for the Nano, to help even out the coil wraps. Just ran out of 32G, but I have plenty of 30G to try with :)

riptripper is funny... it dont take him long to get a video out of these new coil builds

i know its a bit off topic but i saw on youtube these wickless coils aswell :p will have to give it a try too

I've tried a few different arrangements with wickless coils and the only thing I don't like is that the juice builds up in the well of the deck of the RDA and the spatter if it's flooded.
