I've come to realize and had to explain it to a LOT of my vaping friends that wattage is everything. Voltage is only a part of the equation. I have one friend who will buy all his attys and cartos in pretty much every available resistance. He then goes on to "claim" that his provari dies faster running the higher ohm cartos at higher voltages. That was until I sat down and did the math for him.

Some people may think there's a difference, but I really don't see anything discernible between (in your example) LR @ 4.0v and SR @ 4.8v. Both have the same power consumption, so the vape will be almost identical. You can probably get away with cranking the LR boge up to 4.8v anyway, they can usually handle high power very very well.
