I happen to be really fond of the 1.25 and 1.6 ohm dual coils. But, I stock fourteen different kinds of cartos. Everything has its place. I have no use for the 2.0 ohm and above dual coils.

Of all of the cartos I keep a supply of, the only ones I don't care one way or the other about happen to be the 1.7 ohm smoke tech single coil (resurrectors) and the 2.0 ohm boge. I bet that sounds a little strange - probably the two most recommended cartos on the forums are the two I could do without. For me, at 3.7v the 1.25 ohm dual coil or the 1.8 ohm boge (depending on the juice) are a lot better than the resurrectors or the 2.0 ohm boge.

That's really interesting that you say that! I have tried the 1.7 single coil and the 2.0 and 3.0 Boge, and they all have way too airy of a vape for me. At 3.7 volts, the 1.25 ohm dual coil is amazing. At 4.2 volts, it is superb. I like the 1.5 ohm dual coil at 5 volts.

I have not tried the 1.8 ohm Boge. Where do you buy them?

Btw this thread was not made to say dccs are wrong or if you use them you shouldn't. I just don't get it. Also after 2 days of vaping the draw is terrible. Me likey boge :)

I happen to feel the same.

I've ordered six dual coils, just to try 'em out.

After about three days, the draw is horrible, on most of them! I've had to toss a couple dual coils after a very short time.

The boges, on the other hand, seem to last much longer, and provide a more pleasant draw, for me.

Anyways, it's great that there are so many choices!

I'm finding that my smoktech dct's aren't sucking enough juice through the pinprick of a hole (I'm using 70/30 PG/VG)...I'm constantly doing dry pulls to rewet the filler. Haven't had any problems yet, but I feel like if I forget, then I end up with a singed carto, which I wanted to avoid with the tank. I'm thinkin about running down to home depot for a saddle valve to make the hole bigger. But I'm worried about: a) the carto flooding and me having to change PG/VG ratios to compensate, and b) how will I know when to stop turning (I'm assuming there's no *pop*, if I'm just widening the pinprick of a hole...Thoughts?

Instead of trying to punch your carto hole larger, try using a drill and drilling a hole in your tank and inserting a snug fitting screw. Constantly having to do dry pulls means your carto isn't wicking well, there is negative pressure inside the tank. If you had a tank with a fill hole, you could take the screw out every once in a while, vape once or twice and reinsert the screw. that's what I have to do with my boges.

Exactly, Thats why I like the M1A1 tanks, they come with fill hole/screw already.

Some juices do plug them up. A couple of my favorites just can't be used in the DCs.

I use all vg juice. I have the same juice in a boge and it is still going strong after 5 days. Most of my boge cartos last well over a week wiith all vg juice. My dcc started getting a bad draw after a day.
