I've talked to 6 ecf members and 3 companys about this and I've heard I'll see what I can do, or It's impossible. It is possible!!!!! It would be the most elaborate mod on the market if anyone had the "parts" to take a chance and make it happen. The general concept: A box operated with one hand with nothing to regularly unscrew for people on the go. I'm a landscaper and I pull handfulls of sand out of my pocket at the end of the day. I'm tired of holding a condom while I vape and leaving my atty attached being prone to a break when I carry wallstone. Please feel free to take a look. If you think it's impossible than please feel free to post here. If you think it can be done, please post here and pm me. If you want to see a larger picture hit save as and look at it with your picture viewer.

The battery, led, voltage, and function are kinda open. I don't mind a auto. The idea is that I can throw it in my pocket without unscrewing or putting a condom on anything. I slide the top over and the mouthpiece pops up, I vape. Then push it back down and slide the top back to closed. The top and bottom will need stoppers that will prevent you from accidental dismantling. The battery should be pretty big if it wants to live up to the ultra portable concept. And the storage compartment should hold either another atty/carto setup or a small juice container for refilling. This should help you Parallex.

thanks for that. I'm only allowed to post a small pic and I didn't feel like copying and pasting that part again.

The type around the image starting at the top and going clockwise= Top slides left. Spring loaded 510 connection that will hold cart attached. Guide-rail/Power-rail system. Bottom slides right. Battery. Storage.

this is the point where I usualy get "thats impossible" as an answer

Looks totally doable, but I don't really get the advantage. Pushing in and covering the atomizer seems at least as troublesome as sealing it with a rubber cap. And something like an eGo is pretty sturdy with the cone protecting the atomizer connection.

understandable but I tried carrying my ego in my pocket with a rubber and not only was it uncomfortable in my pocket, painfull if prone, and leaves me with only one cart. I still would have to put a rubber on it, or hold the rubber while raking, shoveling, or even operating machinery. I never found it portable enough and nowhere near one handed.

I like the idea. I have a similar problem when I am at the barn and working with the horses. I put it in my shirt pocket, but hay and horse hair sometimes get into the atty. Your idea sounds great.

It looks great in my head but I need a machine shop and a modder to make it happen. can't just use a battery box on this one.

OK, first the disclaimer; I am not a modder (yet). While I am fairly competent with everyday hand and power tools, and am usually pretty good at figuing out how/why things work (or don't), I have no experience with electronics or machining.
I've actually had a similar concept, floating around in my head. where the action of sliding the connector would serve the purpose of an on/off safety switch, so there would be no accidental firing while it's bouncing around in your pocket.
The slide mechanisim wouldn't seem to be too difficult. If the spring could be incorporated as part of the circuit, the on/off switch function would be pretty straight forward.
Figuring out a reliable juice feed option would be somewhat problematic, due to the need for a tube to move and flex every time the atty assembly is opened and closed. A bottom feed could be configured so that the juice bottle would be connected directly, and move with, the assembly, but it seems that the length required might be a problem.
A juice tank configuration might be possiible, though.

Are "dust-resistant," and, "self-contained," more important than the design you've come up with?

I ask because i had the same idea, but gave it up for this idea instead:

it's got an easy to remove dust cap, the nipple sits in my lips comfortably, easy-to-wipe-off tip, relatively small size

I took pics next to an 18650, but it would do best with two smaller batteries on each side inside.

I haven't cut into one yet, but think it'd be easy...except that it reminds me of this too much:

the Boge Revolution

and it's ready to buy, just need to get the one that has adjustable voltage

---------------------
Another thing, when i was playing around with the idea of using the lotion bottle, I was planning on putting the retractable thing inside, and putting the switch or lever on the front, but simple trumps trick

Cant help you with the mod but I have 2 suggestions.

- The Leo has a snap on cap and you could carry a 3ml bottle in a pill fob.

- A cigar holder, you could put your ego in one side and a bottle or extra cartos in the other.

Or you could do something like the Warbox, basically a box mod built into a small pelican case.
It is completely sealed with room inside for atties/cartos/juice when your not using it.

My suggestion if you want a small PV, look for the A2 copper mod on the forum. That with a 510 carto instead of the A2, and a cap for the carto and youd be golden. The boge Revolution in black is a nice peice for the pocket, but I can do you one better I will have the V2 revolution bottom feeder soon and a few to sell, thats perfect travel vaping fun.
