Shusta - you posted that you shorted the mod yourself.

help vamo keeps saying "short"
no matter what batteries i put in it or what tank i use it says short, this all happened when i accidentally did short it by touching the center pin to the out side wall, is it broke for ever now!?

I tied all that, with nothing in it, it simply says 9.9ohms, if i put in my nutulus it says 1.6ohm, it reads ohms perfectly, its just when i go to fire it says "short" rather than the voltage its set to vape at

Does this mean its fried from the inside!? like is it perma fried!? i accedenlt shorted it with 2 stacked 350's thats 5 amps right lol would that perma fry it!?

has no one ever come accros this before? do you think health cabin with refund/replace this?

That's besides the point when i bought this device it said "short" protection" if the whole thing breaks when you unscrew a tank then there was no short protection!

"Short protection" means that the device shuts down to protect the user - not that its impossible to short it. Its the same for other electronic pvs . It was your own user error. I think Health Cabin are being marvellously gracious here.

Not really, i mean this all happened when i unscrewed a atty, thats what im assuming made the short when the atty fell out of my hands and bounced by the 510 connection area, if screwing and unscrewing your atty is mal-use then everyone that owns an apv is breaking their warranty simply by using it.

What you said previously was you touched the centre pin over to the side and shorted it. So yes, if some-one says they shorted a device through their own user error then its their own fault. I've unscrewed attachments thousands of times from a variety of pvs, including a well used Vamo. Done carefully there is no problem and I've never had one. Anyway - enough on this. You shorted it.

Also i dont think you understand what im asking kiwivap, shorting a vamo doesnt destroy it forever it just shuts it off, i want to know whats wrong and why. Whats going on is not indicative of a short, when the vamo shorts it says "low load" so if you dont have anything useful to add why are you even perusing my threads, dont you have anything better to do than harass random noobs on a e cig forum? Things must be pretty boring for you Aussies (hehe).
