I got mine for $43.50 from Health Cabin, they call it the Bamboo for some reason. I think the others are just a few dollars less everywhere else. I do recommend the ss version, it's built like a flipping tank.

I just checked my store, the SS Version will be here in 10-14 days, ill think ill wait, but they have lots of the black and chromes, did they improve the SS?..hows the battery rattle, better spring on the cover?

The biggest con with the ss version seems to be that a lot of them do not save your wattage setting after a battery change. Granted, some report the same thing with Chromes. (My regular chrome remembers wattage).

Alot of places are giving you a better spring, if not 2 types that help with the rattle. I have the thinner, longer spring and all I did was wrap tape on my batteries a few times to solve the rattle.

Cool, glad i asked, didnt know the wattage setting would change on some of these, not a big issue tho,BTW,the guy at my store suggested that i go the viva nova with the Vamo, but i think i need and 510 adapter,am i correct.?

i would check reviews on how the finish holds up over time. i could have sworn someone was already complaining. my memory is a tad foggy though, sorry.

Black chrome is prone to peeling on a lot of devices. My regular chrome has a slight "scuff" you can barely notice. But that was due to touching it with juice on my hands and scraping it on a counter top.

My Vamo is not skinned so I don't really care about the finish anymore.

The Vamo has a 510 that is slightly raised for airflow ... you don't need any adapter. I use mini novas and genesis atomizers on my Vamo with no issues.

The Black Chrome one I have is losing some of the black "tint" to it. Now this may be an exception because I have a bad habit of putting it in my pocket.

I actually think it may look kinda cool, its gives it that beat up broken in look, like a pair of jeans, you can even refinished them too, maybe repaint with a black matt paint

I don't have any problems with mine, I mostly run it in 350 mode, though there is zero rattle with 850's. I like the heft of the ss, it feels real good in the hands.
