The SS version is slightly lighter than the chrome version, FWIW.

No kidding? Is the steel thinner than the brass version?
The Vamo has a 510 that is slightly raised for airflow ... you don't need any adapter. I use mini novas and genesis atomizers on my Vamo with no issues.
Even the chrome versions make great paper weights ... can't imagine how the ss feels. Though, the steel could be thinner. I honestly have no idea. Both versions are probably going to be heavier than you expect. Heavier AND smaller than you expect actually.
I haven't gotten it yet, waiting patiently for it to arrive. It's a co-op purchase and per the organizer and the manufacturer, the SS version is lighter than the chrome or gun metal version. No kidding? Is the steel thinner than the brass version?
I know one tank wont fit without the adapter, its the new Kanger 3,im pretty sure Im going with the mini Nova anyway,it will look good with my egoc that i will use for back up.
Yeah ... seems like 90%+ of the apvs out on the market wont fit the dang Kanger T3. lol
Good info on the brass vs steel btw.
This explanation makes it easier to calculate the difference of the 2 Vamo`s,this a small cubic centmeter block.
Brass is heavier than stainless, 8.4 g/cm3 for brass 7.85 g/cm3 for stainless. Plus to get the same strength you'd have to use more brass making it even heavier.
Both my chrome and gun metal finish look like heck. But they still work so I really don't care. It's all part of them coming of age. Gives em character. Battle scares. lol.

Is there away to turn on the led to light up when it fires?
Not that I know of. PBusardo mentioned that there is no firing light in his review.
