The Vamo has a 510 that is slightly raised for airflow ... you don't need any adapter. I use mini novas and genesis atomizers on my Vamo with no issues.

I know one tank wont fit without the adapter, its the new Kanger 3,im pretty sure Im going with the mini Nova anyway,it will look good with my egoc that i will use for back up.

Even the chrome versions make great paper weights ... can't imagine how the ss feels. Though, the steel could be thinner. I honestly have no idea. Both versions are probably going to be heavier than you expect. Heavier AND smaller than you expect actually.

Brass is more dense than stainless steel and will therefore be heavier for the same given volume of material.

Density of brass: 8440-8730 kg/m^3
Density of stainless steel: 7480-8000 kg/m^3

Yeah ... seems like 90%+ of the apvs out on the market wont fit the dang Kanger T3. lol

Good info on the brass vs steel btw.

This explanation makes it easier to calculate the difference of the 2 Vamo`s,this a small cubic centmeter block.

Brass is heavier than stainless, 8.4 g/cm3 for brass 7.85 g/cm3 for stainless. Plus to get the same strength you'd have to use more brass making it even heavier.

I just did a calculation between the brass and SS Vamo, which is the SS is 7% lighter, providing they are both the same thickness,if the SS is thinner, we may have bigger drop in weight.

8.4 minus 7.85 = .55
7% difference

SS Vamo weight-only body weight: 135g

Both my chrome and gun metal finish look like heck. But they still work so I really don't care. It's all part of them coming of age. Gives em character. Battle scares. lol.

I agree.

the t3 would probably need a 510 to eGo adapter for the cone threads like this: 510 to [eGo] Adapter . i ordered my vamo with a couple of vivi novas after reading countless posts and articles so i don't have a vamo yet to verify.

Just picked up a SS Vamo from a US supplier. Paid a lot more than from China supplier...but will get it quicker and if I have a problem, I wont have to wait forever to ship it back and then back again, so I think it will be worth it. I think it will make a great back-up for my Provari...which I need to send in to get upgraded to the V2. Funny, I have gone two years with it now without a back-up. Hope I don't have an issue in the next three days...LOL.

Yea tc1, it won't fit without an adapter, but a new PV is coming out with a T3 freindly well on top. But an adapter is fine for now. Theres a CO-OP for the new one called a CVI. I'm on it, lol. I caught a Chrome Vamo on the classies today, lol
