....funny how these coincidences happen
I wonder which will prove the best!

Not sure about the sub ohm coils aspect ...perhaps not my 'thing'?

It's just a decent flavor boost and a lot more vapor in my experience, but you burn though juice a lot faster than higher ohm coils. When I squonk I get about 4 good hits before I have to do it again. :D I really prefer the large amount of vapor to me that is what tipped the scales for quitting, good lung filling draw.

Perhaps not for me then ...I try not to inhale too much. I noticed a difference just changing to higher power stuff VV/VW such as the MVP2, iStick & iPow, and using dual coil tanks etc. (mini Nautilus, MOW, mPT2, etc.)

I was never allergic to anything apart from pollen sniffles, but once I started using e cigs I found all manner of stuff I can't use: PG and certain flavours etc.
So, perhaps something that uses even more juice wouldn't be a great idea!
Tch! I like trying shiny new stuff too! :(

Not all flavors benefit from subohm's. In fact, it ruins many beyond vape ability. If you want clouds and are willing to potentially sacrifice some flavor, subohm is certainly for you. You are essentially turning the wattage up, just going about it a different way than a variable watt device provides.

The Virus is one NT liquid that I always vape at higher wattages. It seems to bring some of the more subtle flavors forward for me. Other peoples' opinion will vary because we are all different (thank goodness!).

I agree, I notice lighter flavors sometimes don't do as well. And I wouldn't say I am a cloud chaser at least not like those YouTube guys, but when I take a draw I like the feeling a little more vapor gives in the .5-.7ohm range.

Edit: So far I think my lowest build was running right about 44 watts and that was a little high, usually about 35w.

I get plenty of vapour (for me) as I use max VG.

Thanks both ...I think I'll be passing on those nice shiny new tanks then! :)

I like how this turned into a reo discussion

I might add, that you don't have to build sub-ohm or inhale directly to your lungs, when using a reo. If you get an RM2, or something with small airflow or AFC, you can do mouth hits and blow it out your nose or swallow it and burp it out later...

... I am kinda debating whether to get the Eleaf/Naut mini combo for my mom, or just get her a reo...
My biggest concern, is like the OPs: how long can I really expect a coil to perform? Can I really expect this device combo to last long, without taking care or it like a newborn baby??

...so yea, I think Im just gonna take one-time hurt of the larger price tag and go for the reo. Besides, I already have batts/chargers, wire, ect... So you see, it would probably be cheaper in the long run to take the time and learn to build your own coils.. Its not hard...

Right now, I am cleaning/soaking the tank coils for my mom's current CE4 clearomizer. It has been working "OK" for her. She is still smoking... I let her hit my Sub-ohm reo, and it is too much for her. So I think she needs an RM2..

No disrespect for you tank-peeps. I just can't take them anymore. I almost smashed one last night that kept leaking...

In regards to the tanks: No offense taken! Tanks aren't for everyone and neither are Reo's :)

I hope your Mom gets a setup that allows her to stop smoking. If she can see how much better the flavor will be with any dripper-style, it might help!
