The "Virus" question

I just saw Clark's new menu of our awesome flavors. As I read through it, something stuck out to me. The Virus has a 65/35 PG/VG ratio.

What exactly is the PG & VG? I know what they stand for, but what do they do?

I always thought The Virus was 50/50. Maybe the 65/35 is what makes the flavor stand above the rest, ever?

PG will give you more flavor and throat hit, VG gives you more vapor production.

Nope it's 65/35...PG is propylene glycol and gives throat hit and a little sweetness VG is vegetable glycerine and provides vapor...if I have that right...

I have always read that VG will add some sweetness, and vapor. Between the two of us we got it all.

Edit: Went and did some looking around, looks like they both add sweetness but PG is the sweeter of the two. +1 for interwebs learnin'.

High PG isn't necessarily a great thing, not in my opinion anyways. While it does enhance the sweetness a bit, it doesn't really make the specific flavor 'pop.' Everyone has their own preference, but anything more than a 60/40 PG/VG ration is to much for me. Used to be that I looked for that throat hit from the PG, now I get my throat hit from the warmth of the vape. I guess it all depends on your vaping style. I've sold all my mods except my Reo.. to each their own though.

PG is aight....
VG is where its at, IMO...

My first juice company I used (think of the video game that Xbox is most popular from)... used a high ratio of PG. It helped me get off the stinks, so I am grateful that worked.. But then I started getting extreme dry mouth whenever I tried it. Since then, I prefer high VG...the more the better, IMO...

I have a friend with emphysema though, and I just recently figured out, that VG is bad for him (too thick of a vape)... so more PG the better for him- the PG has a antiseptic (antiviral) type of effect (somewhat) from what I gather... Not that vaping is good for him but vaping is safer, if its PG, for him (hopefully)

First thing I noticed, all of those people have incredibly smooth arms....Wonder what it would look like on my ape hangers?

I have asthma and if I chain vape high VG or 100% VG too much I noticed it gives me some trouble, so I have to vape it sparingly.
