I'm really excited about it, but damn the website name........I refuse to purchase China stuff, Wal-Mart is bad enough, I try to stay American when it comes to my E-Cigs.

...wat?

Looks interesting but idve rather they made it fatter and not so tall. I already feel like I'm compensating for something with my 18650 mods

Not sure but our own JunkyRock13 here on ECF did a video of the real one (presumably) in early October.

Interesting. He doesn't say who made it. In the comments on his video he does say different manufacturers are making it. That and the difference in the heads makes me think it's a knock off. The wicks in the video are twice as long as the ones in the OPs link. So they may be two different versions from different places.
Don't know if I'd want 8 mls - but if they work ok some folk might I guess.

Well, those wicks appear to make much more sense. There are SO many competing companies over there and I have heard that they don't have any method of recourse when a competitor just swipes a design and decides to sell it.

The ViviNova is so long it looks almost comical. Would have been nice if they went fatter instead of longer. Even on a Bolt my 25mm diameter IBTanked 8ml tank looks like a normal tank and the Bolt is a skinny mod for an 18650 mod. On my SB it looks very nice and looks very goog on my Stinger as well. Here it is next to a generic 5ml DC Tank...

I would rather they ditch the plastic on the Vision and come up with glass than make it bigger. The old ones are a bit to fragile making them longer will just put more stress on the plastic. It's a gimmick I will bet you that those tanks will crack pretty quick with much use or the first caustic juice. I love the Vision vivi nova but in this case I doubt bigger is better. It's going to crack from stress if not from juice.

The newer Vivis are made of polypropylene so won't react with caustic juice.
I haven't found them fragile - I've dropped them a few times and they haven't cracked. I guess they'll wear out eventually, but for about $12 they have been a very good deal for me so far.

Glass would be nice - but only as a spare parts option. If they went with glass only Vivis they'd cost more and I like the price as it is.

It's a vivi nova knock off tho isn't it? I don't see Vision mentioned anywhere.

Vision is not a manufacturer. They are a distributor, although they do have some quality control before they put the Vision name on them (hence the higher prices). The knock-offs are manufactured by the same people (usually, not always) but the customer is the QC in that they expect to have to replace a certain percentage because of manufacturing defects.

Vision products usually come with priming fluid in them because the coils have been tested. I willingly pay extra for Vision products.

Vivi Nova is large enough for me, the juice is usually getting nasty by the end of a tank. I usually alternate a tank of unflavored to dilute the dregs of the first tank. It seems to work well. There is usually a lot of the flavoring that gets caught in the wicks and carries over.

Thanks. Vision have got a bit hot under the collar about people selling vivi knock offs. I use 3.5ml Vision vivis and clean after a couple of tanks. So I guess I'd clean an 8ml after 1 tank. But I think it's too big for me. And I like to stick with Vision - I've had no problems with theirs.
