I'm depressed since I got my new chasis :(
I'm not getting it I guess. Once I got the old o ring on my atty on the old chasis, no more leakage. New chasis, new rings n things, n friggin leakage. I'm about to give up on the vmod thing... Only leaks on the outside of the atty, so I imagine it is me that is doing something wrong. I don't squish until it starts to get harsh. do the upside down, bubbles back up right, gently squeeze, altho it is harder to squeeze on new chasis. dry pull vape, sometimes it is still harsh so I do it again. Am I supposed to wait after I squish?? I want to vape right away so I do. where is my mistake guys?? Pls help b4 I put it away :( :(

Edit:
When it is harsh and I squish again, I don't usually tip it upside down I just squeeze trying to get what's in the neck of the bottle up into the chamber. Just wanted to add that.

If its leaking on the atty maybe its spilling from the res when you tip it.You can puff it before you hit the button, like a straw to suck the juice into the atty before you take a hit.

I do dry pulls b4 I vape, it took a minute to get into that habit, but it's pretty much sop now :)

Is the large upper seal in place?

It goes around the atty & gets seated when you put on the cone.

Yep, I put it on the outside of the atty and then put the cone on to tighten it down. I only try to barely tighten it, so I don't over tighten. Sometimes once it's tight I'll back it off just a grunion so it's not too tight? maybe my mistake?? I do that w/both atty and cone.

t-taz, there were two times actually (on the old chassis) that I inadvertently pushed the entire chamber housing down from struggling with an excessive tight drip tip (guess the drip tip won :( ). Another lesson learned. Use a drip tip that can be put on the atty first, and that will still accommodate the attaching of the cone. Lesson two: lubricate the o-ring on an excessively tight drip tip! (DUH) I think the only reason that I did not have the same unfortunate result was because I didn't have a batt in there (can't recall now)? Or it didn't go down quite as far as yours. Brian, thanks for the new chassis!

I think I found a new love.:hubba:

We kind of knew you'd like it! ;)

vapure_ak, HUGE CONGRATS!!!! YEAH!!!

Hey, what do you mean you installed the catch cup with no problem. That's just not fair! LOL.

vikki, my only suggestion was already suggested to you by AG. I'd vape it nekked to really see what is going on. Other than that, I would also do a bit of top feeding on the atty.

highspeeddirt, I think that's pretty funny that your mail box is now so clean! But sorry you didn't get the Vmod yet.

Scot, thanks for the grats!

Here's a tidbit for all of you getting your new chassis & new seal kit:

Mine came with a "big o ring" (aka lower seal) installed. On checking with Brian, he said to remove it to the trash and use the new one in the kit. Same for the upper seal (aka tiny o ring) that goes on the atty.

Those fractional changes are making a better seal system for this chassis as it is fractionally different elsewhere!
(my analysis)

And, you will all be happy to know that this step (changing the inner seal) has handled wet atty problem.

Ok, thanks to tearose my problem has been solved. She sent me a pm and mentioned taking out the upper ring that comes stock in vmod and put in one from baggie. I did that and no more leakage Vaped non stop since then, switched batt out, and now out of juice, no leakage!!!!!!!

Thank you to everyone for your help. It was something very simple and ya feel "DUH" when it gets resolved!! I am now a happy vmodian again :) :)

Edit:
Just seen her post #2029 :) :)

Intriqken --- yes people are using the two little 200 mah batteries for 6 volt.

They do deliver quite a punch!

2.8 ohms -- the highest available from Vapage. Available in carto or atty.

Technically the 200 ohms lasts less than 1/3 of the 14500's ---- except with that punch you can't vape them as fast to make a comparison-----er well, I couldn't!

Not yet Vikki --- or not that I know of.

It seems to me a lot is continuing to happen in the battery markets, not just for PV's.

If there is a need, someone will find a way! I only know of one 4.8 volt battery and it's a bigger size.....dare I say it -- 18650 --- so it's not stupid!

Haven't kept up to date on it's success rate.

Ok, I have a question now, I see that if you stack a certain batt that you can vape at 6vlt. Is there a batt or combination of batts that would fit in this vmod that would allow us to vape at 5 vlt? Or is that a really stupid question?

It would have to be big enough for an 18650 to fit the 5v batts. So they wont work in the VMod until they make an 18650 unit.

Thanks keyzgirl :)
Ok, now that makes sense to me, only because I know a lil about the numbers on batts from reading somewhere, (I think ecf library). In other words if I'm not mistaken the 18 is 18mm diameter and 14 is 14mm diameter, so the 18650's are fatter :) :)...
