Intriqken --- yes people are using the two little 200 mah batteries for 6 volt.

They do deliver quite a punch!

2.8 ohms -- the highest available from Vapage. Available in carto or atty.

Technically the 200 (ohms) lasts less than 1/3 of the 14500's ---- except with that punch you can't vape them as fast to make a comparison-----er well, I couldn't!

I think you meant (Mah):p

Have they changed their trade-in trade-up policy? I didn't try after reading oldblue's post below -- but maybe they've changed their policy? Or am I just confused again

Just confirmed from email. "Trade In and Trade Up" promo can not be applied to the VMod. Throws a wrench in the gears for me. Sent in my only kit. Haven't the funds at the moment for the $60(with the current coupons) in addition to the batts and charger I need since I'm fairly new to this. It does say on their web site good to use on "VAPAGE or CIG2o PRO KIT" and also on the form you print out to mail in with your kit. I assumed that since the only PV I found on their site that said "VAPAGE" was the VMod that it would work. My fault in it was not checking with them directly BEFORE sending my only PV. Not completely their fault.

Sorry but it really did only take me about 2 minutes to install the catch cup:p

And I must say I was vaping along very happily til I needed to change batt and saw that there was still leaking coming out of the top getting my atty all wet:confused: Then I saw the post here about how we needed to throw away the preinstalled o-ring that came in the chassis and put in the other one that came in the bag of seals:facepalm::blush: I was really thinking like what good is that going to do they look the same to me, until I took it out of the bag and placed them side by side and though it is a small difference there is a difference in the size of the 2 and the one in the bag seems to fit tighter to the atty:) SO now all is good and I am vaping happily again:vapor::vapor: And blowing clouds of vapor too:vapor:

Oh and as for the 6volt vaping on this mod I have tried it with the 2.8 ohm silo and I must say I like the extra punch it gives but I am still not a big fan of the silos so I am going to wait till I get some money and try ordering the Hybrid atty instead, cause I think I may like it more:)

intriqken, I did love my one day with the 14250s. I used them with the standard 2.8 Silo and it was delightful... sigh. The batts last far less time that with the 14500s. (prolly about 1/2 the time)

Tea, throw out a perfectly good O-ring? LOL! Ok, if you say so (but I'm going to save it just in case...).

Yeah, vikki! A leakage-free Vmod!

:p:p

I think you meant (Mah):p

mAh mAh mia...

Got my replacement chassis today(with replacement seals). Will be vmodding tomorrow. Life is good.

Yeah, baby!!

Well, waited quite a while to order my Vmod. Watch Grim's review about all the leaking and decided to wait. Saw that there was a new chasis made and no one was complaining of leaks, so I ordered one...

About 3 hours reading through this thread. Proper feed techniques galore. Testing all 4 of the silos I have, and also the 2 Hybrid attys I bought with it. All Leak. Check the two seals on each of the cartos and attys: all there. Only thing I see people talking about is a seal kit. There were no extra seals in my order, but I figured I had the "New chasis" so didn't need them.

I'm spending more time washing my hands then I am vaping. Out of all the mods I have purchased, never had one leak this bad. How did this thread get to 205 pages on a mod that leaks so bad?

Good Morning fellow vmodians ... :). I must say that after vaping my lil heart out last nite, (yep I even took it to bed w/me so I could midnite vape) and vaping this a.m so far, NO LEAKAGE and I actually tried to over feed it a couple of times... That new fatter big o ring really does the trick. Well that and all of the other fixes, but that is the one that I know makes a diff. Just a thought tho, they should put in directions to get rid of the stock o ring in there :). Wait maybe they did, I wouldn't know since half of my instructions were cut off :)... What a glorious day!! Coffee, vmod, vmod, coffee, fellow vmodians :) :)

mAh mAh mia... thanks kat --- I get lazy & can also be typo queen!

Stownz --- Call and ask for a seal kit. It will also have the "looks like a cut off condom" catch cup.

Condoms are good for protection.

I don't know if any kits have the new seals installed yet --- but all buyers of the new kits were to be sent seal kits automatically and some were by separate mailing. Check your junk mail for something from Spark Industries.

Stownz did you wipe the atty off before you took the pictures cause it doesn't look wet . When mine would leak it was from the large gasket letting juice pass and getting the atty all wet and running all over the chassis. If the atty was dry I would say the leak was from somewhere other than the seals. When I got the new chassis and seals I put the large gasket in my old chassis and now I have two that don't leak at all .

Greetings you all-
From time to time I have noticed that folks seem to have a problem with leaking and I just wanted to take a second and share the fact that you can feed your atomizer or cartomizer with out ever touching the bottle by taking primer draws. Not at all the ideal way to use the Vmod but even the cartomizers will feed in this way. Myself I like the atomizer which did seem to be a bit prone to over feeding (user eror on my part due to many ML. of juice with out leaks) but with the new chassis seems very solid so far. I do not know if it is the bottom gasket or what. The leaking on the chassis in the pictures above seem to be from over feeding and a need to install the catch cup. Once you learn to become one with the Vmod all things are clear.
