We're not employees, so don't know. Maybe they are closed? All I know is I have 3 emails through their website that were never answered from weeks ago. I always call now and have been very happy w/CS.

Wow. Frickin' awesome!

My post was ignored here as much as my suggestion to vapage.com customer service.

Lesson learned.

You do realize that ECF rules prohibit vendors from posting in here, and that only users who are not affiliated with the company are responding?

The Vapage folks do read this thread though.

Good point. Exactly why I mentioned a few pages ago that I'd like to see a vendor specific thread for vapage.com

Little update on HV vaping experience so far....
The 14250's charge in about a hour to an hour and a half for me on a cheap 350mah charger. I have to stack 4 pennies together for the batt to fit the charger but it works fine.
They seem to last about 3 hours...I'm checking the clock this time so I can be more accurate on how long they last.
I didn't modify any atties or cartos to use on the Vmod. Right now I'm using a standard 3 ohm carto from boge, I think. All atties and cartos I've tried seem to work fine. Just be sure you transfer an 'O' ring to the carto or atty before screwing it in or it leaks big time, then make sure you don't screw it down too tight or it won't feed.
The nicest thing about HV vaping with the Vmod is that you only take a one to two second 'drag' to get a lung full of heavy, warm vapor and a mouthful of wonderful flavors you can roll around on your tongue as you exhale. Much like an analog.
You are no longer 'sucking' for 5 to 10 seconds for satisfaction.
Quick hit and enjoy.
Instant on...instant warm...instant vapor.

Any atty or carto will fire on the Vmod, but it's probably not feeding.

Please confirm....your Vmod is feeding a standard carto? :?:

The silo and hybrid both have a slotted base for the juice to feed....

Mine really is feeding so long as I don't screw it down tight. Of course if you don't screw it down enough then it won't fire....too much and it doesn't feed. Backed off just a hair and mine seem to feed fine.

You can test it by making sure you get bubbles in the bottle when feeding and a slight gurgle when you draw the first time after feeding

Have any of you who are having issues with getting responses from Vapage trying to call their toll-free phone number? I guess that's the next thing I would do. Maybe they're having issues with their website's contact form or just their email in general?

805.419.eCIG (3244)

Not trying to make excuses for them, just trying to help.

BTW, their website is down, presently.

Interesting thread considering several of the newest attys out are using SS mesh.

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/atomizer-mods/221377-stainless-steel-doughnuts-dripping.html

I have previously used the hybrid atty from COV and I like them very much. When I got my eyes on the Vmod with Silo attys I thought it would be the same. Both are 1.5ohm. But in my opinion the Silo doesn't hold juice as good as the hybrid and also have a metallic kind of taste to it. Today I cleaned out my Silo atty and it got better. Then I remembered your post. I took a dead hybrid atty and took out the ss mesh. It have a ss mesh of 0.7mm x 40mm in size (I know nothing about inch :) ) and rolled it in the length and pushed it down around the sides of the bf atty. No I can "sqoink" in plenty of juice to keep it wet without any leakage or a dry hit. :)

The silos are cartomizers and IMO are quite a different vape. What a great idea to change the filler out for mesh! I was thinking the same thing as I do not like the muted flavor from cartos. I've been vaping a gutted 2.8 silo like an atty but the resistance is too high for me. Saving all my dead hybrids for the mesh & sleeves ;-)
