COV carries the AMG BF Hybrids (silver connection) and the AMG Universal Hybrids (gold connection).
The BF Hybrids are what work on the Vmod.

I was just looking at COV and I didn't see the AMG's listed... All I saw were the standard hybrids gold band... COV shows a pic of the all silver AMG but no listing.... Unless I am overlooking them.... Just saying...

When are the new versions of the Hybrid bf attys going to be available for sure? I would like to order soon.
I was under the impression that the already was but maybe Vapage have some left from the old stock.
Ordered eight (4 packs) of them and four works excellent and the other four taste funny and have badly aligned coil wrapping with poor wicking.
It's like the first poor ones from COV I got.
I also got four 2.2 ohm Silos with my two Vmods. Two is OK, two is measuring 3+ ohms but marked 2.2 ohm.
It feels like I got "buy one for the price of two" :D
Is everyone having these old ones in lately orders?

But with attys working properly this mod Rock's! I love it. :thumb:

I wish I had an answer for you, Jackass, but since all of my Vapage equipment is working so well, I haven't even had the need to order more yet! I'm pretty sure that the second run BF attys are available now. You can check yours against the pics that were posted in this thread when Vapage made the changes.

Anyone have a post # for the pics?

WOW, the Vmod will really spoil you for anything else

Wow, if THAT isn't ever the truth! VMODians, we are too cool  and quite spoiled!

S to the K, what an impressive review! I am your first commenter on the site.

Scot, I changed my avi only temporarily for a friend's celebration today. No, I do not ski, and I do not like skiing, and I do not like snow and I do not like the cold! LOL! Having said that, I can't imagine you'd have any problem at all with the VMOD. Hopefully on your next mountainous trip, you will take it and report back to us.

Jackass --- As I understand it, the 1.5; 2.0 and 2.5 atty's are second run atty's. The other "special edition" ohms were first run.
I don't know the date of the change to the second run---but it seems like it was early September.

It appears to me like all first run BF Atty's are not at any supplier in any ohm.

Well
It is offical I am a Vmodian ! I received my two AW 14500 protected cells from Wonderlite today.Threw them on the Ultrafire 188 topped them off. Then I vaped the 2.0 ohm Silo worked good. But as I said I was going to mod a 1.7ohm Resserrector cartomizer from Crystal clear vaping.
I used a spring loaded punch and actuated it maybe 15 to 20 time in the same spot along the seam on the side of the carto. Then I used a metal pick to make sure the hole's were open. I used a file to make sure I removed the deformed raised metal from the bottom of the carto. Installed the gasket and gave the bottle a squeeze .I heard the magic squionk.

The 1.7 work flawlessly .Tons of vapor and at 8 watts the flavor is great ! Found the 6V too high for the 2ohm silo.So I waited for the 3.7 cells and I am choking with Vmod tons of vapor .Yea baby yea. @ $21.50 for 15 shipped I am sticking with the modded reserrectors !

Good to go and good to know, Johnathan! Congrats and so glad to hear you're loving your VMOD!

The magic squonk, eh? Welp, as VMODians, we actually do the gentle "SQUISH", or "SQUASH", or "SQUOOSH" of the bottle for that little bit of magic juice. (We leave the squonking to the Reonauti. ;))

Okay, vmod peeps...I found out what was going on (and I think I read in an earlier post that someone else was having this problem). What can I say? I'm not one to learn from others' mistakes.

The washer on my hybrid atty was covering the air holes, and was making it incredibly hot in my 6.4 volt vaping machine! ;) I adjusted the washer so it wasn't covering the air holes, and I am now happily vaping away!!! This thing KICKS A**!!!!! I'm in total LOVE!!

Thanks Tearose. I ordered 4th September so they maybe didn't had the new batch in stock yet.
It's the 1.5ohm so I thought it was the second run. The carto Silos is the 2.2.

Jackass, I knew I had the post with the pics somewhere! It's post #1070 and here is a direct link.

Thanks, how sweet of you to find the pictures for me.
I saw these when they was published. Before the Vmod I only had the Universal Hybrid from COV and the coil was all bunched up on half of them. It's like the heat gets to intense in that spot and burns the wick as it can't stay wet enough how much you ever try to keep it wet..
The coils in the bf hybrids i got from Vapage also looked like that in four of them. Wrapped to close together and off centered.

where exactly did you put the hole?

I put the hole almost at the base of the carto where the barrel seam meets the sholder of the connector base.Sorry sold all of my canon camera equipment .This cell phone picq will have to do.I put two holes like this in it.Very easy with a spring loaded punch. Then file the base flat.

Did you have to make a modified O-ring for the carto as well? I modded a DC in a similar way with the holes are as far down as possible, but the std o-ring was covering the holes I made in the carto.
