I called Monday and they sent a replacement straight out, received it today, Thursday. I was only expecting the inside, but they sent the whole kit. I was very impressed with CS. Now I can't complain about the DOA 2.0 BF atomizer. I have another order of different ohm atties and silos coming and I hope they are not DOA's because I will feel bad about telling them. I really like when things work because I hate complaining. I'm actually treating this new VMod so delicately that I'm getting stressed. I wish I had told them to wait for the new and improved, but I didn't know they were changing them.
I wouldn't sweat it too much.

tea, thanks so much for what you said! For all the electrical tapers who didn't listen to me, ha ha ha, tea suggested just plain scotch tape, a small little piece, and it works very well!

I purchased a Vmod today from E-Cig City while on business in Ca today. Batteries charging right now. It's impressive looking and reasonably priced. I didn't plan on buying one, but walked out with one in hand.

I have a really newb ?? I have not used attys yet, only cartomizers. So what ohm should I get for my baby? I was thinking a 2.0?? 1.8?? What is the difference?? And the silo carto's are just that cartomizers, I was thinking getting the 2.2?? All this ohm stuff is a bit bewildering until I actually get to play w/them, I was just wondering what I should order. Thanks 
It depends on how warm you like your vape...
1.5ohm is the warmest.
1.8ohm is kinda warm.
2.0ohm is medium.
2.2ohm is cooler than medium.
Anything higher is getting cool IMO.
What ohm carto are you using now?

I think they are 2.4 -2.6. I just not sure what is meant by warm.

I'd give that 1.5ohm atomizer a try first.
If that's too hot, go for the 2.0's.
Don't forget the feed instructions and to drip a few drops on the top of the atty too.
The Vmod makes using atomizers pretty easy.
You'll be "Pro" in no time!
