I will take a full 7% responsibility for all the chatter. I believe that the catch cup is part of the seal kit, which is available, or soon will be, from Vapage.

Katdarling, no offense meant by "chatter" -- that's the fun of this thread and why I keep reading it everyday. And I've been dreading trying to put in the catch cup, and you gave me hope that maybe I can do it too! I just felt bad that the person's question didn't get answered..that's all.

Ok, I didn't leave just yet. No offense taken. In fact I do get it. This is about information and people do need to get questions answered, so good that you were on that! :)

The catch cup is not nearly as difficult as I made it out to be. The use of some juice to "lube" it up was a very helpful suggestion. THE suggestion (who said it?) was the toothpick tho. If you use the toothpick to just hold the wire up slightly, it will allow you the needed dexterity and flexibility.

Why are vape terms so nasty? (This COULD go unanswered, but I doubt it will ;))

Now, I'm off for awhile.

The Scot mentioned the factor with which you will find the insertion of the catch cup to be easier. Use a toothpick to raise up and hold the firing wire just a bit, gently. Then the catch cup will "smush" in, "squish" in, etc.

Uh oh... are we going to lose you? Say it isn't so!

Heck no!

I love the Vmod and the Hybrid Atomizers!

It's just time to play around with some other stuff.

This is a hobby, right?
Nothing like trying to make my own atomizer!

Who knows...maybe I can get rich and famous too!

OK guys, I've been lurking in here for while and waiting on the replacement chassis for both of my VMods. I sent my info through the online request form but have heard nothing since then (back on the 19th i think). Will I receive some sort of shipping notice? I really NEED to get these mods up and running!:) When I first got them they kept me from reverting back to analogs. I currently have a Buzz Pro and am using it at work and home but need my VMod(s) to carry in my pocket when out and about:) This is the best mod I've had the chance to try and can't stand being without them. Seeing everyone enjoying a leak proof VMod makes me jealous! :(
Maybe I should try calling them sometime and make sure they haven't forgotten about me up here in Alaska:pop:
