If you ordered atty's you might wanna make sure you ordered the Bottom Feed ones. As far as the bottles, there will be more available soon. No juice is in the bottles when they come, so you'll have to order some. It's a great mod and the easiest bottom feed mod I've seen yet. you'll get the hang of it. We were all in your shoes once. Just ask questions.....you'll have no shortage of answers. Good Luck

I picked 2 of each of these that were advertised with them. 2-hybrid 2.0 bottomfeeder attys, 2- 2.8 cartos
Did I do the right thing?

So how good are the silo's. I was thinking of just trying them and then when I figure them out I would try the hybrids.

The Silos are good...the Hybrids are great!

Get a couple Hybrids.
You won't regret it.
The VMod & Hybrid were made for each other!

Pardon the stupid question but do you just use attys with the VMod, meaning no filler stuff?

The VMod uses the new Vapage Hybrid Bottom Feeder atomizer. It's available from Vapage & Clouds of Vapor. The BF Hybrid is different from regular atomizers in many ways, but most noteably are the feed slots in the outer casing. These allow the VMod to be fed through the pressure chamber on the VMod. The BF Hybrid works on any BF device with a catch cup. The Standard Hybrid works on all devices, except the VMod.

Breezer & other newer people:

On which to buy -- a lot depends on what you are used to now.

There are carto lovers and there are atty lovers when it comes to vaping! Each style has its advantages.

Start with the cartos and learn to use this PV.

The company also makes a 2.2 (warmer) carto that isn't on the site right now as they are out of stock right now. I really like that carto & apparently others do too since it's sold out!

The atty's are made to be warmer --- the lower the # the warmer they are. I'm really liking the 2.0 atty's.

Have fun reading over all the chat about the Vmod and the atty's after you get going. Then it all makes more sense!

The only ones that company sells that are not rechargable are their new disposable ones---the barfly. Most pv's have rechargable batteries. You need to buy batteries for the Vmod. 14500 is the size. Get 2 or more, so you always have an extra charged one ready.

The company recommends one brand of li-ion battery (popular & a little cheaper) -- I like the brand AW and use protected batteries.

Last weekend I bought an Ecig starter kit. Yesterday I bought a Vmod and am waiting for it. Do the carto and the atomizers I bought for it do the same thing? They look alike.

just to clarify, 1) the hybrid (and the vmod) can also be had at e-cig city (brick n mortar in southern cal); and 2) the standard hybrid will work on the vmod, but you have to drip - it can't be fed.

There are a lot of brands and I'm not sure about Ecig. Technically, they do the same thing.....an e-cig heats up nicotine liquid to a vapor.

You will see the #'s 808D1 and 510 used a lot around here. What that boils down to is the threading of the screws that connect the battery (power) and the heating element (atty) [or heating element & juice holder combo (cartomizer)].

510 batteries need 510 compatable atty/carto. 808Dl need 808D1 carto. Many "look like a cig" starter kits these days have 808D1 threading.

The Vmod uses 510 threading and so will "work" with any 510 compatable carto or atty. However, one must use their "bottom feeding atty" or Silo Carto to utilize the well feeding system that supplies juice to the atty/carto.

I hope this helps!

I'm not asking about the Ecig. I bought the carto and the atomizers for the Vmod that they had as accessories but it appears they look alike and I don't know what the difference is or which one to use. I figured I needed them since another member here bought both for it.

Beezer, the carto has white filler and the atty will not. It will be apparent when you have them in hand. FYI, I filled my carto by hand and it took 20 drops. The instructions that come with it are different and I think if one followed them to the letter, they would end up burning the filler & wick on the carto. Once burnt, it's always burnt.

Just a heads up.

OK -- I understand. You'll be able to tell when you get them. The ones that come in the kit are cartomizers. Take off the rubber covering and look into it -- you will see white filler material with a tiny circle in the middle. That is a cartomizer. It will have etched on the side the "ohms #" -- 2.8. (The heat factor stuff). All the ones you have that say 2.8 on them will be the cartomizers.

Strongly suggest you use them first. There are some instructions that come with the kit. There is also a video on post 1 of this thread that shows how it comes apart & fits back together.

I know someone mentioned it earlier -- but don't forget to buy batteries and some e-liquid as neither comes with the kit.
