So, I've read almost every post in this thread, but I am still unsure about this mod:
1. I sold my Reo Mini- because the 14500 batt would last 4-maybe 5 hours if I was lucky. Can anyone compare the how long the batt last in the VMod vs another 3.7 they've used?
2. Maybe I will convert some day- but I am a carto vaper. I hear rave reviews about the hybrid attys- but the SILOs seem to get 'luke warm' (no pun intended) reviews. I really enjoy the 1.5 ohm Dual coils.
a. I know they will not feed- but can you use the 1.5 DCs on the VMod?
b. Can anyone compare the vape of a 1.5 DC on a 3.7 mod to the SILOs on the VMOD?

Thanks....

6v with the 2.8 silo's is where it's at if you are going to use the silos. Innovapor carries the 3.2v 14250 batteries as I'm sure you have read, they work great. As for the 14500's I get a good day out of my protected AW 750 mah battery could be more but I always charge it when I go to bed. You should be able to put your dual coil carto on it and not feed it.

Woohoo! Just bought my very first vmod (and first mod) after reading through parts of this never ending post..... I'm glad I did, saved me much needed money by not buying a Reo. I've been looking to purchase a bottom feeder for quite some time so I'm glad that there are a lot of people out there who like it. I love how inexpensive it is compared to other BFs.

The only thing I regret is placing 2 separate orders with 2 coupons thinking I'd save money...yeah...no.

I did 2 orders and saved about 10-15 dollars just had to make sure my total was over $50 which I would have anyway with atomizers and cartomizers. Hope you enjoy it as much as the rest of us are!!!

1. Battery will last the same time. As I understand it, length of time is relative to your vaping habits & the resistance of the atty/carto. 600 mah lasts some 2 days --- not me!!!

2. Their 2.2 carto is a honey---unfortunately, it is out of stock and hopefully coming in soon and maybe with some other choices-----like 1.8 that was in prototype mode recently?

2a -- yes.

2b -- Sort of. Since I don't like that warm I've only used my duals on other weaker devices.
It's been said that this has an "airier" vape --- but that doesn't explain it right. It is more flavorful yet smooth and plentiful and likes a lighter draw.

Well, that's my 2 cents! lol

I'm still here on ECF... sort of. ;)

Hmm, let's go read the Darwin thread, and when finished, we'll do a bit of light reading on the Reo thread. ROFL! This thread is just getting started!

Thanks for the feed-back....
I went to the site to order and..... NO SILOs to order with the unit.

Really Disappointing:(

You know the "official" symbol of ECF, right?

first of all let me say the Vmod is the only 14500 device I have ever liked!...usually a very unsatisfying vape for me..
the AW IMR 14500 batt lasts me around 8-10 hours on average as I am a chain vaper...
the 2.0 cartos have good flavor and vapor but the Vmod really shines with the 1.5 bf hybrid atty...
it produces plumes of vapor and tons of flavor....the draw is not airy at all its light and smooth more like a analog..
it surprises me how much I love vaping this cute little mod...:thumb:

Yeah - I read your post! But it didn't dawn on me that I needed to spend at least 50 bucks for free shipping. Ah well, you live and learn. Thanks for the other discount code, I'll definitely use it in the future.

The Puck is a battery box mod that can be built entirely from parts from Radio Shack. I am a 510 user so unfortunately, I did have to take apart an Ego for the battery connector since the Puck is designed around 901 atomizers. It's a cool little box that's super cheap to make and is a good intro to modding. Here's the link to the forum post on how to build it:

Thank you for the explanation :)

Ok, here's my review. I"m a little distracted with Alice in Chains - Man in the Box cranking @ 5:40 AM and the little lady dancing around me but here goes.
I received a Vmod and a Tornado Tank / Ego T in the mail Monday. I filled them both and fired away. Hands down the Tornado was the winner. Put the tank/tip in and start puffin. Real simple. Self feeding. Lots of vapor. Friends tried and agreed. I was wondering what all the excitement was that I've read here. 2 days into it and I installed the 2.0 atty I purchased along with the Vmod and it woke it right up. Easier hits and more vapor than the TT. I push the button and hear it pushing vapor out like pushing the button on an aerosol can. All I can say is WOW.
In the last 2 days I drove 1000 miles for work in 2 different states and had time to spend with my new 'friends'. I was talking to pals from around the country while driving and told them I felt like I was in a bar. I was jammin to Sirius Classic Rewind , talking to friends, had the Tank loaded with tabacco flavor, and the Vmod filled with Brandy and Coke. I managed to vape them both dry. The battery on the Vmod lasted the whole tank with more to spare and the battery on the Tornado lasted a whole tank as well but timed out when empty. Very enjoyable trip through the mountains of Pa. and W Va. to say the least if not less :)
My co worker is vaping now as well. I got him and his wife started. Things are going well for them. They had tried all methods to quit smoking including accupuncture and so far so good. I told him about the different flavors. He told me he's doing this to quit smoking and vaping completely. I told him I quit smoking but as far as vaping I'm just getting started. I always hated a quitter :p
