Kat, put some damn lube on it and slide (smush) the cup under the the pin and wire. Straighten it out once it's in the cup (easy peasy) and rotate the slit for the + wire to fall into place and your done....if i can type on this damn iPad, i know you can put the CC in. You can Dooooo it.
If you can't. Send it to me and I'll do it for you :)

Funnily enuf, just tonite I had a conversation with a friend who said that people from Ohio say the word "squish". Over in Brooklyn, the peeps say "squash", but over a bit in Indiana, the people say "sqush". So now you're from SC and you say "smush".

I don't want to deal with the CC tonite. Tomorrow I will awaken, have me coffee and an espresso vape, and then, by magic, that ":censored:" catch cup is going in! It has no choice. I can Doooooooooo it! LOL.

Love,

Rosie

I seek wisdom from vapers wiser than me.

I have 2.2 and 1.8 ohm Silos that must be way too hot for me. I am assuming they are too hot as the juice taste is very light and it always has that slightly burnt / metallic taste. (this has been true for every 1.8 to 2.2 silo I have used on all 10 Silos I've used with my 3 main vapes.
I decided to do a test:
I meter one of the 2.2 Silos and it reads (repeatedly) at 2.5- I also metered a V4L LR carto- and it is metering at 2.7.
I put the same juice in each and vaped on the VMod.
The Silo has the bad taste I mentioned, but the V4L is great.

Anyone else having this issue? Any insight as to why this may be happening?

FYI:
All my juices are 70/30- 15 mg Nic- very clear in color, with light tobacco-ish flavor.
I also have a VV mod- I can run the 2.7 ohm V4L up to 5 volts and I don't a bad taste with the sane flavor.
2.8 Silos work OK for me.

LR can diminish the flavor of light juices. The burning may be a dry carto though. Try dripping into the top & see what kind of flavor you get. I've taken the 2.8ohm Silos up in the 5-6v range without burning, but it took a lot of juice. The Silo has about half the filler of a regular carto.

New chassis and squishy parts are here...but I have not a clue what to do with the optional drip squishy. Picture on the instructions isn't very clear and I'm especially blonde today so reading the instructions is just not doing much good. Happy that it's optional. :p I've only gone through a ml using the new chassis (which looks just like the old one to me) and the new not invisible O ring, but no leaks so far. I have hope.

Are you remembering to subtract the resistance of your leads from the number you get when you test the silos?

Anything to pass some time,I got some tobacco concentrate coming from PA and TW to play with in my little lab.

Love it! Which ones did you try from TW? I adore m'boro. Cuban cigar...meh. Been playing aorund with percentages and find I like that one weaker or I get a peppery taste.

Yes, but I didn't reflect that in my post- 0.5 from leads- so
2.0 Silo is 2.0: V4L is 2.2

I've tried bottom fill, top fill, both. If the combination of LR and my juice was the issue- you would think both the Silo and v4L would taste bad..? Or even the V4L (2.2 actual) at 5v, which is simply too hot, but not bad tasting. I guess I'll stick with the 2.8 Silos and mod more of my other LR cartos to be BF.
