I've given up on this second chasis and the Vmod altogether. The wire was misplaced and the leak is coming from that place. I guess it was punched that way in the factory and i can't do anything about it. Tough luck.

Oh well, at least i learned about the BF attys thanks to it.

Good luck to all and enjoy the Vmod.

One of mine leaks, BUT it is a bottle issue NOT a chassis issue... Well the rough thread may have (or not) contributed to the problem, but the actual leak is from threads or lack of on the bottle..

My other one, well I have purposefully overfed it to make it leak and with the new seals, o-rings, and catch cup, it just isn't happening... I surely wouldn't have 2 dressed vmods that I'm currently using and 3 chassis waiting in the wings for clothes and bottles if they were anything less than what they are. Awesome and very newbie friendly.. JMO :) :) Even the old chassis are working great w/the new o-rings. I made catch cups for them and super glued the crack. Great back ups there!!!!!!

My Vmod leaks (or pours) now and then, but I don't care. It stays within the chassis and doesn't get on my hands, so no biggie. It vapes like a champ and that's all that really matters. :)

Btw, Vmodders...I got my 14500's in today. They're charging right now. I hope I'm not totally disappointed going from 6.4 volts to 3.6.

Just use 1.7 or 1.5ohm atty @ 3.7V and you will be good as gold ! As you know it takes 2.8 or higher with the 6.4V to keep the heat and over wattage from ruining the flavor let alone the mod itself.I can attest to the fact that 2.2ohm at 6.4V is way too hot. Just took a couple pulls to snap some sense into me ! 18.6 watts is way too hot fo sho !

That's a good guideline, but it's a bit subjective also. And it depends on the juice. One of my VMods is loaded right now with 6v and a 2.2 silo with GBC. Personally, I didn't like the juice at 3.7v on a 1.8 silo or 1.5 atty, but on this setup it is fantastic. On the other hand, my TV Tastyfinger is absolutely divine on a 1.5 BF at 3.7, but is harsh and distorted at 6v even in a 2.8 ohm silo.

And for some, 1.5 or even 1.7 is simply too hot at 3.7. For example, I think Keyzygirl prefers the 2.2 silos at 3.7 (if I remember correctly)...

The mod has no problem whatsoever at 6v (even freshly charged) with the 2.2. Just take short, happy, thick, flavorful, and very cloudy draws! :)

The important thing is to experiment a little and find your own sweet spot.
