It'll be worth the wait!

Yes I cant wait til monday...but I have enough toys to keep me busy...hehe
A.G. has told me enough about the Vmod that I know it is gonna be my daily user...as I want something to keep all this wood from getting marred.

The bottle thread is definatly 10mm in diameter and i believe the pitch is 1.25 mm but there is no way your getting a tap in it there isn't enough room. Not positive on the pitch due to not having a 10x1.25 bolt at work only 10x1.5 and that is too "steep" of a thread. There was a 10x1.25 tap but like i said not enough room to get it in the thread.

You would need to use a bottom tap used for threading blind holes.

I figured. I'm just a smartass! :)

A VV VMod would be sweet!
I've mentioned it to the big dog.
He said he'd look into it. ;)

Lack of VV or VW is why I held off as long as I did on the VMOD. Being able to set the wattage on the Darwin and then swap out any resistance atty or carto and have it "hit" the same is a huge selling point. Especially for lazy people like me. My sweet spot is between 8.5 - 9.5 watts. Knowing Ohm's law helps, but if my PV can just do it for me it's that much more awesome. Been using the VMOD all morning and I keep thinking, "If only it was a touch warmer."

Don't get me wrong. I'm really enjoying the BF aspect. Dripping can get to be a pain after a while and every carto I have ever tried just tastes "off." A BF is even more convenient than a carto and tastes just as good as dripping IMO.

well i finally get a chance to open up and play with the new vmod, just the right size for my hand fits perfect, im using it right now as it came out of the box,ill do the drip cup when i find the page that explains it better, but as of now there are no leaks at all, which is a good thing, the carts that came with the kit i got 2.4 ohms on my meter, im using a 14500 imr battery, i did find i had to increase the nic slightly to get a good throat hit, i get good heat from the vapor, all said this is a pretty neat little mod, seems to be well put together , simple to use, you get plenty of warm vapor from the silos, no leaks, now if i can figure out how to use a standard 1.5 ohm 510 atty, ill be in heaven
