the Vmod

Oh, dear, I just ordered 2 (two) VMOD primo yadda yadda kits before 10/10/11 for the 20%, and added a pair of 1.5 ohm atomizers (among other "things", like a red shell for the wife-unit). As a novice to the VMOD (not yet ON it) maybe someone can please help me:

1) Given the heavy 2.5 A load, is the 1.5 ohm atty really usable on non-IMR 14500 batteries, or do the batteries quickly fold up and die? Would it be smarter to try to change that to the 2.0 ohm ones?

2) What ARE the stock 900 mAh batteries they ship in the kits like?

3) I got some spare bottles. What does one need to do to switch flavors on the go? (please don't say "get another VMOD"). If you vape the juice in the atomizer down, can you do a flavor switch just by popping a different bottle in?

1. Not a problem with the 1.5ohm on the Vapage 900mah battery.
2. Very good batteries...better than IMR in my opinion.
3. Vape down the atomizer and switch bottles...easy peasy.

I guess I have to much spare time,but I had a 1.8 silo that I had used for well over two weeks,so I had nothing to loose really,I took a coffee cup,filled it with water and put it in the microwave for two minutes,took it out and put the silo in to soak for about one hour,let it dry over night,put about 10 drops of juice into the top,waited about thirty minutes,put the Vmod back together,a lttle feed from the bottom.Its working just fine so far,knock on wood.

Fernand, Brian to1d me the Vapage batts were better than fame jackets but not as good as AW high drains. I use AW. It depends on what's important to you. I prefer the hotter hit off the top versus the 1onger sustain of protected.

Bott1e changes are simp1e and on the go. I've found for the most part, changing f1avors in these attys to be fair1y quick. However I do vape comp1imentary f1avors 99% of the time and no in your face ones 1ike cinnamon or mentho1.

Thanks, guys, the next eGo battery just bit the dust, and I got some forged 3000mAh BRC BullFires with a kit, so I'm on battery nerves. When I say forged, I mean dimensionally all wrong, 3000 mAh label, more like 900 mAh reality, and now after a week it seems they are not holding a charge for even 900 mAh's worth. They are probably the dreaded recycled cells in *Fire wrappers. Ugh! When I was growing up in France they'd joke about recycling tires for the Americans as chewing gum, and now the Chinese are reselling us our old cells as 3000 mAh Protected Primo Power for our Chinese atomizers. I'm not safely disposing of these, they go in the trash.

@Jackass, that 20% IS significant. It may be obvious but I was pleasantly surprised (doh!) when on two VMODS+ there was a discount of $50.

@Tierrataz, nothing in yer face here either, but I find a Maple and a Black Currant pretty yucky together!

This may sound like a NOOB question.... The Silo carts: for those who have had to 'retire' one from service- do they simply stop working, does that taste get bad 'all the time', or is it more a matter of a very noticeable reduction in vapor or flavor production?

Reason I ask is I am still using one for about a month now- and it still seems good, but it could be a matter of gradual reduction in production that is hard to notice unless you compare to a new silo.

I have not had a silo yet just stop working,and silo's are all I use,never tried an atty.Mine I would say taste is all I have noticed.

Hello! Has anyone used Dulcis from Vapor Talk on their VMod? Contemplating an order from them & thought I would check with the pros first! Have some AG's Dream & Gooey Cake on the way but am looking for the perfect RY4(ish) juice for the VMod. BTW, am presently vaping Vaperite Organic VR4 & IKENVape RY4 on 1.5 & 2.0 attys, get massive vapor but the flavor needs just a tiny bit of help. I fully understand that taste is subjective but....any suggestions?

Brian is the best. He sorted it out for me. Looks like the site can't handle Swedish specific letters like å, ä, ö any longer. Never had an issue with my CC before. I even used it today online.
