Oh me ~ Oh my,vikki realized that while she was editing her op for color/text/moving things around, she not only deleted some pertinent info, but it looks as if today is her b-day which it is not
. So I reckon a lil esplanation is in order
While I was reading the thread: No leaks, bigger batt, new design, gunmetal gray, etc etc etc, I felt my pulse quicken, the excitement surging thru my body, the adrenalin pumping wildly. The room started to spin, drool began sliding down the corner of my mouth, eyes glazed over. At that point I was no longer aware of my surroundings or even what I was doing w/that "thing" in my hand. Then all of a sudden I had a lucid moment ~ I thought: what an awesome bday present this would be to me, which is in reality Jan 1st a mere 19 days away... They should be released by then and I'll be all over this!!!! But then moment was gone and my sanity was gone once again...
So please except my humble apology for misleading fellow vmodians, as that was not my intent, at least I don't think so

Just wanted to share how resilient the wood burl shell is. It jumped out of my pocket onto very rough asphalt. I was horrified as I love this shell and it's sexy feel. Upon inspection, the coating was perfectly fine. My drip tip was decapitated. I know from having this happen to the silver shell that this was impressive. I wouldn't recommend this but my shell did survive.

Ditto, mine is proving to be quite scratch resistant. I also find it fits more snuggly and has reduced seepage to once in a blue moon.

Right. That's why I was asking chopperguys to clarify which model he ordered. He said he ordered his last night, I wanted to make sure I didn't miss something. It appears he got the standard 14500 model.
