Damn...forgot about the free Barfly!

I still haven't tried one of those!

I did too, I was going to give it to a friend to try, but I was in such a hurry to snag a XL I didn't even think about.
Maybe we will get lucky and they will through it in anyway.

Hi Katfeesh --- all I can think of right now is try turning the battery over. Put the nipple side on the bottom and the flat up by the firing.

Also, make sure it is turned on. The button is an on/off switch too and it may have rotated too far. I had that happen a couple times when new with the Vmod. You can Try and fire with the body/shell off and see if the button is making contact to the battery. If you turn it on and off a few times it may just work fine.

Let us know -- someone is sure to have an explanation for you.

The Vmod only has about a .1volt resistance, so it vapes better than just about any bottom feeder.

You can use the 18650 for 3.7v in the XL....or 2x 3.2v LiFePo4 for 6v....or 2x 16340 for 7.4v....or 5v batts.
Lots of configurations possible with the Vmod XL.
hey almighty do you think the AW IMR is the best option or the AW protected 2600mAh?? i read some charts that the 2600mAh outperforms the IMR because it also has a 3.7v nominal voltage. whats your opinion?

I don't have any of those batteries, but I don't see why they wouldn't work.
I only have IMR batts.

Katfeesh unscrew the atty a bit and then 1/4-1/2 turns till it fires. The connection takes a bit of finesse. I know this may sound über simple but give it a try. It has worked for menumerous times.

Well I tried that to and nothing so I put my meter on it again and the center pin of the connector is grounded out.
