I received my V-mod 2.0 upgrade from Vapage over the weekend. they have sent me the chasis and the silver cone. my OCD kicked in again! LOL!! the doesn't match the shell cover. anyone knows when are they going to sell the shell covers? another issue I have is.. I don't know which one to use! hahahaha..

I sent my cracked 1.0 in on the 11th for a replacement/upgrade & I'm still waiting(...
Bump to know when the new 2.0 compatible cones & shells will be available.
I sent mine in on the 10th. chatted with them on 13th to verify if they received it and they said its in processing stage already.. I received the replacement on the 18th. I guess its quicker for me since I live close by them. usually its overnight shipping from them.
VMod2.0 Order status update: day 11 in transit to Canaduhh (usps shipped) and no update to the "electronic shipping info received" status from day one.

Just got a Vmod 2.0 ordered for my long-time smoker dad (birthday gift!). Part of me giving vaping another go was to try and get him to do the same.
My Dad absoloutly loves his XL, I think the not messing with refilling all the time is what got him, he hated my slim 510 batts as well as the Ego's his hands just don't work right and the Vmod was the perfect solution for him.
UPDATE: My 2.0 shipment finally arrived (2 weeks to the day into Canada after customs) and the batteries are charging
Well, for my first bottom feeder device and being a dedicated 'dripper', I must say I really like the convenience of this Vmod !
I do fit it a little to airy(?) but have so far only tried the native atomizer that came with it. I did notice a difference (slightly) tighter draw using a different drip tip on it, but still find it not to have enough 'drag' for my personal preference.
At least with the 2.0 I can at least try using different atomizers and really hoping that the latest bridgeless LR's I picked up from Canvapes will work with it and that it too will add enough drag to satisfy me.
The 14500 batt obviously won't last me a hole day on its own, but with two I do pretty good. The advantage I like about it tho is definitely the overall device size........ so stealth and fits perfect in my hand.
Only thing I see being an issue (once I get the drag issue under wraps), are the seals. The are so thin and fragile IMO and one was kinked (near torn) upon receipt, so I'll be ordering spares for sure.
Overall, I quite happy with my purchase and look forward to perfecting the combination to meet 'my' needs.

I know I prpbably missed the info along the line....but do the old cases and neck fit the new, or have they updated the neck piece and you are SOL if you purchase now???
The old shells/bodies fit both the Vmod and Vmod 2 chassis. But, you need the Vmod 2 chimney and cone. Does that answer it for you?
I'm guessing there will be the V2 cones sold separately so we can match our fancy shells/bodies at some point. Could be soon.
