Wow -- great picture Kat. Thanks.

I went to check them out on site and noticed --- the vmod bodies are on sale for $4.99! Great deal.

The body fits both the original vmod and the vmod2. If you are using the vmod2--you will have to use your original black or silver cone (and chimney) with these bodies.

I've got a happy face body and black cone----works for me!

I too jumped on the $4.99 sale for the Vmod 2.0 body cover, but a little late I'm afraid. I was able to order one in Camo, but I really wanted one of the wood grain ones but they were out :(

I'm pretty sure it's ok, but wanted to double check:
Is it safe to charge AW IMR batteries in the Vapage VMOD charger provided with the premium kit?

Thanks for the help :vapor:

The simple answer is -- yes.

One can use the same charger for most of the batteries sold by vendors for APV use. These are either High Drain IMR's or Protected Li-ions. The Vapage batteries are Protected li-ions, I do believe.

There are 2 exceptions that I'm aware of --- and almost all vendors will say "Uses XYZ charger only".

"Just for the heck of it I tried a sealed bottom HH.357 atty on the XL...feeds & performs perfectly! " (from the linked thread)

The vmod2 internals are exactly the same as the vmodXL and since the XL was the first vmod to be able to feed just about any 510 atty there is a lot of atty discussion on this thread about attys -- lots!

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...d-xl-18650-bottom-feeding-mod-vapage-com.html

You might want to search the thread for more info about the dripping atty's. They do feed -- but I don't know of anyone mostly using them.

Thanks tearose. I read through most of that thread but it has been a while so I will go back and search there.

I been using the 2 ohm BF atties that came with the Vmod and I picked up a couple of the 1.5 ohm BF atties from Vapage too. They work OK but after a couple days the draw started tightening up so I gave them a vodka soak. They were a slight bit better but not much. most of my juice is thin PG80/VG20.

I have a Cisco 1.8 ohm 306 I got from Avid that I have used but it actually runs a little hotter and the juice tastes slightly burnt. I think I am going to pick up a AERO 510 from Avid. I have wanted to try one since a couple people said they work good on the Vmod.

Thanks,

Please take care with the protected batteries on the VMOD.
A friend of mine had a problem last saturday, she used to put its battery with the + in the bottom of the VMOD XL (the battery is a AW IC P31) and she had a problem during the 3 first seconds. The Vmod went away in a big smog because the spring was stuck in the battery protection.
So take care.

here's my bottle mod. so no more tilting! I used a 16 gauge needle and a bottle nipple. just simply drop in the bottle and you're all set!
