The VYPR is what I was looking for

Neebie that started with a Revolver Elite, good smoke but battery is a joke, then the MV 902 which is a very light smoke but with quality control issues on the batteries and attys, not dependable enough for me. Then I got the VYPR with the DSE801 atty. All I can say is "Wow", this is what I needed to completely drop the analogs. Battery life is insane, the cartridge holds like 35 drops, the flavor is awesome and the draw is light. I cannot say enough about this unit, I was about to give up and go back to analogs until folks on this forum pointed me to this unit.

I constantly see post that suggest that the ultimate unit will have a large cartridge capacity, great battery life and great vapor. As far as I am concerned this is it. I firmly believe that the throat hit issue is totally dependent on the juice that is being used, as I can tell a great difference with the juices I use. I do not believe that this is totally dependent on the atty.

I am ordering the VP1 tomorrow from Vaprlife, who are great folks to deal with and the products have awesome build quality.

The most awesome aspect of these units is that you are not tied to the expensive, short lived, low ohm, Chinese batteries that all the vendors sell. The autos are a joke and the manauls are not much better. They should give you every thing else just to keep you buying the batteries for life. The VYPR or VP1 lithium ion batteries are readily available for about $4 each and can be charged around 800 times, I know, I have used them for years in custom flashlights and such. Plus, the units are sealed at the connector, so there is no fear of the flooding the battery from dripping or cartrige overfilling. It is just so much simpler and you do not have to constantly fear that you have wrecked the battery.

If there is a downside, it is the size, though the VYPR is barely larger than the battery and I find it to be most comfortable in my medium sized hand. The VP1 is smaller yet and that is why I am getting it for "out and about" vaping.

The main reason I was compeled to add this post is because I have 2 friends that gave up vaping because of the crappy, unreliable equipment and batteries that are out there. One would think that something as elementary as a passthrough, would be good for several months or years, yet both of them had failures within weeks. The ECig does not have to be a complex communion of cheap parts, the atty is the main part that makes it vape, and fortunately they are the most reliable part that can be repaired, cleaned and revived. It's really all about the battey and it took me 2 months to realize this, after an estimated $300 investment in some really cheap built equipment.

I'm sorta ashamed to admit to well over 900 in 3 months, but totally expect the costs over the next few years to be very low. Battery life and attys are very important, that's why I spent so much going from a 510's to Screwdriver and now S-Touch but juice for me is the most important and I can't quit get that elusive taste or mg. that I crave. Still searching.

I just recently purchased a VYPR for my neighbor and friend, which features adjustable air draw, and I tried it. I also own a Vapre 51, which is a rebranded VP1 and a VP2. I found air draw on my VP2 was way too much, especially if dripping, but the company provided me with adjustable air draw screws for a nominal amount. I found that they made a big difference in the VP2 in terms of getting thicker hits, especially when dripping. In the Vapre 51/VP1, I found that it did not need or want air adjustment. Maker sure to keep the PV's atomizer post clear of too much fluid and, once in a while, you may have to carefully remove that tiny screw and clear the thing out. Reversing the battery "stealth mode" extends cell life and seems to slightly boost vapor output. Congratulations on your purchase of an American made original.

Hey Jude,

Was that a song that I remember from the younger days? Just kidding.

I have my fair share of juice laying around also. I first thought I had to have a tobacco flavor, but now I seem to be zeroing in on fruit flavors, kinda sweet, at 36mg. There is one tobacco flavor that is as close to an analog that I have found. It is the American Spirit from Wordup E-Cig Super Store. It is a little pricey but you can get a PG-VG mix. Give it a try, it really taste like a real cig.
