Myself and a couple others decided that we would start a "water cooler" thread here to talk about just about anything. Everyone is welcome of course and all posts are welcome whether it is some important information or just a rambling about something that is going on in your life. We would check threads here at the Emerald City each day but didn't always post since whatever it was we did or didn't have to say usually didn't apply to one of the current threads. So welcome one and all to the Water Cooler. I look forward to the conversations.

I have no idea what that is but good luck anyway. I know enough about computers to get into stuff that I have no business being in and that's about it. I thought work was going to be boring today but I scored a service call that is about 30 minutes away so I will get some windshield time after lunch. I have a customer that called with a welder that is flashing four error codes. Sounds like a somewhat interesting afternoon.

I just got back from dinner with the wife at Jose Peppers. I'm stuffed. The kids went to visit grandma while we went out to eat. Date night? Not really. Just a quiet meal and it's back to pick up the kids in a little bit. Just thought I'd check in to see if anyone else found this thread yet. Doesn't look like it.

Alright, since I don't want to derail the northerner thread any more, and Hittman doesn't want to be tempted into trying it I thought I would bring it up here. (sorry Hittman:laugh:)

I have been thinking lately about trying a pipe in the evening. Corncobs are cheap, and a small tin doesn't seem to break the bank. So what I'm looking for are some suggestions for a mild not too sweet pipe tobacco, that I can probably find locally.

Look at this. There are new posts in the emerald city. Skrymr don't mind me. I was just kinda joking about the pipe thing. I actually had given it some thought since OTD talked about it before. I already have vaping, snus, and snuff to keep up with and would rather not take on anything else although it does sound somewhat appealing. Like I said in the first post, feel free to talk about anything. Wiz, I still plan on giving attention to the smokeless thread and the "what's under your lip" thread. There are new people showing up in the smokeless thread from time to time and I want to be there to help them like you, OTD,TV, Stubby, V, and a few others were there for me when I needed help. I was spiraling down when you guys caught me and I'd like to be able to pay it forward. I'll Try anyway.

Good morning. It looks like not many people have found this thread yet. I got up early today and am enjoying some quiet time on the forum before the wife and kids wake up. The coffee is made and I'm hoping that we don't get the rain that the forecast calls for. I was wondering if anyone has tried the halo liquids yet. I have been thinking about trying some but damn their prices are high and you can't get sample sizes. Maybe I should just stick with my regulars.

Mornin', boys! I have been VERY busy lately. 3 jobs, 3 teenagers, dogs and livestock to care for. I am ALONE in my house for the first time in weeks and the dogs are napping in the other room. It's sooooooooooo quiet, and nothing is getting messy. I'm in HEAVEN!

hitt, try the "Wants and Needs" section of the pay it forward thread. You can post for something you want to try, and if someone has it, they will send you some.

Good evening. Well my lazy Sunday turned to crap. The wife just went off of Arimidex about a week ago and has been having body aches pretty bad. Now it seems like she is going thru mood swings. She picked a fight with me over something really unimportant and trivial. Well evidently I had reached my breaking point and unloaded on her with both barrels. So now we're both ...... and not talking. I am so sick of all the damn medicine she has been on over the years along with the side effects. I try to be patient and hold my tongue but sometimes its just too much. Ok I'm done now. I did say it was ok to ramble didn't I .

Yes firechick she had breast. Cancer about five and a half years ago. She was 36 when she was diagnosed. She has had several illnesses and operations for different things since we have been married. It has been a rough life for her. I try to do my best but sometimes when she doesn't feel well then it seems like she takes it out on me or the kids. On top of everything else, she was diagnosed with fibromyalgia a couple years ago. Luckily I make enough to take care of all the bills and stuff. She hasn't worked full time for about eight years and hasn't worked at all for the last four or five. I do try my best to sympathize with her but like today, sometimes she pushes me too far and I lash back. It makes for a pretty miserable end to the weekend.

Well she did say goodbye when I left for work this morning. I don't know if she has insomnia or what but she has been going to bed pretty late for a while. Then she looks like death warmed over when she has to get up in the morning to get the kids off to school and unfortunately for her, both of the girls decided to sign up for summer school programs that last all of June. In turn this means she has to be up by 6:45 to get the oldest one off to orchestra camp. The neighbor next door takes our daughter and hers to the orchestra camp in the morning and my wife does the pick up but also the youngest one has to be up at the school by 8:30. Then pick up is at 12:30 for the oldest and 1:30 for the youngest so there isn't alot of time to rest between. I know the kids keep her busy most of the time and I never complain if something isn't done around the house. I do what I can to pitch in around the house and often do some laundry or dishes. Especially on the weekends, I try to make it so she doesn't hardly have to cook or do dishes. I am not perfect by far but try to help out. I guess that's why it made me so mad yesterday when she picked a fight with me over some stupid crap about me only doing the easy tasks around the house. I would help with just about anything if she would ask. Instead she thinks that I can read her mind about what she would like help with. Oops there I go again. Oh well, I am sure everyone knows here by now that I tend to run on at the mouth.
