I went to St. Louis last year, visited the arch and all, too. I can vividly remember the complex, and going up in them tiny little cars (hit my head on the ceiling) and the spectacular view from the top.

And the best part? I get to go back to St. Louis in 2 weeks - gonna party 'till dawn at VapeFest!!!

    Anyone else from Emerald going?

I had a wonderful night in the Emergancy Room with Mrs.Wiz last night. She had called me at 11:30 at work complaining of neck and shoulder pain along with dizziness. I had to lock down the shop....Kick 13 guys out early and made a normally 10 minute drive home a 4 minute one. Spent an hour waiting for them to take her in...and another two before she was released. The doctor said it was some type of neck strain(fogot what he called it) and told her to schedule a stress test. She has been suffering from Gurd and mild acid reflex and been treated for both the past few weeks.

I really wanted to cancel my Daughters B-day party today...but she said she was feeling better and we are going ahead with plans....Go figure!

Wiz, I'm sorry to hear that Mrs Wiz was ill. Things like that can be very scary. I hope it turns out to be nothing serious. Tell her that we wish her the best and by all means get that test performed. Stress is a funny thing and can lead to other problems.

You and the Mrs. have been through the ringer, Wiz. Hope she is feeling better.

I can't speak to the sprain, but I went to the ER about a year ago absolutely convinced I was having a heart attack... radiating chest pains, dizziness, cold sweats, the works. After three hours of bloodwork and EKGs, they decided it was acid reflux... Damned expensive case of heartburn, for sure. Felt like a real fool afterwards, but you know I'm in bad shape when I voluntarily go to the ER.

It's amazing how fast the emergency room doors open up when you stagger in talking about chest pains.

That's a scary thought, Wiz - to get a call of that nature must have turned your innards to water. Good thing it was something not life-threatening.

Hope everyone had fun a the BDay party, and you had another excuse to celebrate, too - that your family is still whole and without serious health problems.

Thanks Vicks(and everyone else) for the well wishes!! In the 10 years I have been running the "Late-Shift" at work that is only the second emergancy call I have had(The first was when my son sprayed perfume in his eyes...Paramedics showed for that one),so I guess I have been fortunate!

Mrs.Wiz is feeling a bit better and the party went on as planned without incident. We are really looking forward to our vacation next saturday!

Wiz, I'm glad she if feeling better. Perhaps the vacation will alleviate some of her built up stress. Today is the last day of my vacation. I didn't miss work or the people there at all. As a matter of fact, I know I will pay dearly tomorrow for being gone. No one covers my work when I am gone so everything that came in last week will be waiting for me. This was a much needed vacation for me and I hope you very much enjoy yours.

Thanks Hitt.......I'm hoping the vacation will relax both of us! I'm sure the guys who work for me will run amok while I am gone....and I really don't care. It just makes me look that much more impressive as a leader when I get back and order is restored!:2cool:

Glad you had a good one pal!
