So I was up late as usual, puffing away on my favorite coffee-flavored liquid, watching some rugby (yes, I like rugby), and gradually the flavor seemed more and more muted. I had just changed the head on my T2, so I thought, hmmm, what's up with that. So I cleaned and dry burned both my Vivi Nova and VapeOnly BCC, filled them with different liquid, took vapes off of them and it tasted like S@&! - I mean, not really burnt, just really bad. So I tried emptying the liquid, rinsing, drying, filling with new, different stuff - same thing again. By now I'm starting to freak out, cuz I love a good vape. So I change out the coil on the BCC, put in new liquid, and the same again! Did likewise with the Vivi Nova - same again! Tried the original coffee, not terrible, but still no flavor.
So eventually I decide to go to bed and see what happens in the morning. (I should mention that I was puffing and blowing (not inhaling) the crappy tasting vapes for a while under a fume hood to see if maybe it was a wick.burning problem.) So I get up today, try the BCC and Nova (which I left full of juice overnight) and BAM - everything tastes fine again. Weird, huh.
The only conclusion I can come to is that I must of overdid it on the nicotine (my eGo was getting pretty warm during the rugby), and that possibly my body was reacting to that. Didn't feel sick or anything though.
Anyone else have an experience like this?
