So I was up late as usual, puffing away on my favorite coffee-flavored liquid, watching some rugby (yes, I like rugby), and gradually the flavor seemed more and more muted. I had just changed the head on my T2, so I thought, hmmm, what's up with that. So I cleaned and dry burned both my Vivi Nova and VapeOnly BCC, filled them with different liquid, took vapes off of them and it tasted like S@&! - I mean, not really burnt, just really bad. So I tried emptying the liquid, rinsing, drying, filling with new, different stuff - same thing again. By now I'm starting to freak out, cuz I love a good vape. So I change out the coil on the BCC, put in new liquid, and the same again! Did likewise with the Vivi Nova - same again! Tried the original coffee, not terrible, but still no flavor.

So eventually I decide to go to bed and see what happens in the morning. (I should mention that I was puffing and blowing (not inhaling) the crappy tasting vapes for a while under a fume hood to see if maybe it was a wick.burning problem.) So I get up today, try the BCC and Nova (which I left full of juice overnight) and BAM - everything tastes fine again. Weird, huh.

The only conclusion I can come to is that I must of overdid it on the nicotine (my eGo was getting pretty warm during the rugby), and that possibly my body was reacting to that. Didn't feel sick or anything though.

Anyone else have an experience like this?

Sorry if this was well-documented elsewhere, next time I'll toothbrush my tongue and see if that helps lol...bad tongue indeed!

Please feel free to post whatever u want mate, u never know if some newer info can be offered.

From my reads no one has yet to find a conclusive way to get rid of Vapers tongue, like spicy foods, cleaning the tongue, etc. I usually Vape very strong flavors like menthol or absinthe when I get this condition.

Now that you've said that, it's going to be harder to talk him into drinking a jar of pickle juice.

I have found that switching flavors also works. I love coffee juice too, that one seems to fade on me after a day of using it. So, I will switch to a sweet juice. If that doesnt work, try spearmint or menthol for a while. Brushing the old tongue never seemed to work for me. But drinking water while vaping has seemed to prevent vapors tongue from reoccurring with me.
