It's great when we find ways to utilize bit's from something else...lol.
The 801 atties seem to work best with the power of all four batteries. I haven't experienced the 510 atty.

The 510 gets hot fast and tastes burnt. Works great at 4.2v though.

The soldering iron mod is great for vaping at home but now I am trying to think of an AA battery mod that is as small and unobtrusive as possible for vaping in public. I want something that will be almost unnoticeable in my hand.
Got the Weller BP645 finished and its fun to use and works great.

Did it for a DSE901 and 3 rechargable Nimh's (2500, 1.24V) AA's. Works great for me. Now I just have to "girlie" it up a bit. lol
I have been vaping ALL DAY on 1 set of batteries and still going.

I second that I never fail to feel impressed when the ladies do some modding.
I can't take the credit. All the people that posted how to do it made it easy. All it really takes (for this one) is a little pipe cutter.
