OK...here's mine...don't laugh! I tried to blow some smoke in to view but the ceiling fan was blowing it back...whole room smells like Dr Pecker now.

I used the .077"OD tube with a sliver of rolled nickle foam from an atty with 32ga. wire and 6 volts. The white part is a piece of diamond wheel dressing stone I carved out. Note the solder-less joints...big whoop!!

Yeah Dan...somewhere along the line there will have to be a drainage tube to deal with the condensation. With an open coil it does dry pretty quick though, but the excess PG/VG wont go away.

Yeah I am looking at inversing the tube, and pointing the vapor production down. Then at the bottom, you put in a collection funnel that routes it back to the bottle. This would be the air "in" line. So when the bottle is squeezed the excess fluid pools in the funnel and when you release the bottle it sucks the excess fluid back into the bottle.

Hey Dan, Sorry I totally missed your post. That looks really great, it's nice to see a complete mobile setup that's actually making some good vapor.

Yes any excess vapor remaining in the tube will tend to turn back to liquid form. It does the same on the wizard and collects in the empty chamber although it's not very much. I would say out of 10ml I get less than 1/4 ml returning in the empty chamber.

Thanks for sharing your info with us. It looks very promising and I'm thrilled with the efforts you guys are putting forward.

Way to go Dan.

Holy crap! Guess what?

I just changed over to using a gutted 801 shell and tip to cover the heating element, and it is real tight on the base so there is hardly any air getting in, so I backed off the tip a little to allow air flow in from the side of the tip. Well I get air now but the balance is such that the negitive pressure causes the juice to be sucked from the bottle and vaporized. NO SQUEEZING THE BOTTLE!
This thing is working even better!

I dunno Dan...I am beginning to believe that its the unvaporized liquid that causes some of the bad flavor problems...even in carts. I would go with a separate tiny bottle or just an absorbent pad that could be changed. I have some thick pad they put in the bottom of inkjet printers and that stuff eats fluid like no tomorrow. Like C said it wouldn't be that much.

Sorry if this is really late but from looking at your diagrams why not completely replace the push pump with a 1 way valve and plastic tubing long enough to be put outside of the wizard and plug one the holes that are mid way on the device so that you still have the airflow to vapor ratio and you still have suction to pull the juice into the atty. I may be way off with this idea but i kinda just had a "light bulb appear over my head" moment. And sorry to just chime in out of nowhere but i just stumbled upon this thread by lurking the sub-forum =P

I'm exploring using an adjustable draw method for liquid delivery. Most e-cig users want some kind of draw feeling. Right now the wizard has a sealed chamber and relies on pressure from from a rubber air bladder to force the liquid up the heater tube. If you were to provide a small air hole in the liquid chamber along with a second air hole near the atomizing coil for (adjustable) fresh air entry. You may be able to accomplish that draw feeling and provide enough vacuum to pull the liquid through the tube.

I'm not sure if it will work but plan on giving it a try. Just some rambling thoughts again.:)

Ok Surf...we showed you ours...whatcha got? You been hidin' doin' something with that roll of duct tape and hammer...I just know it.;)
SO SORRY to have dropped the ball, Nico!!!!!!!!!
Studying and work and just life sucked out my attention span.....
What I've been doing is decidedly un-dramatic, yet has been achieving what was originally my goal when I first started lurking on the ECF.(Wanting to vape, but despising the state of atomizers at that time, about a year ago.)
It began with the combo of being intimidated by the spectacular electronics projects going on in this thread and a sincere desire to stop smoking. So, I learned about Snus over at the Nicotine sub-forum, and was wildly enchanted with the amount of vapor produced by the Wiz.
The very simple thing I've been doing is using snus for all the yummy tobacco drugs, then putting a regular-size bag of snus in the top of the Wiz, and drawing the fog through the bag of snus for tobacco taste.
It Is Working. Very satisfying tobacco experience!
I have reduced my analog intake by 60% so far, going at a reasonable pace. Using this method, I can easily see myself at 100% very soon. This is miraculous for me.
Am only using VG and distilled water in the Wiz. When I have more time, I want to experiment with other flavors for the 'sachets' in the top of the Wiz.
Not a true Mod, but this method has changed my life.
I want to make an atty with the tiny tubes eventually, but now is not the time for me.
I'm really grateful to everyone participating in this thread!:)
Cheers!

NVM my post above. Got really excited then after posting realized that we basically had the same idea. sorry charged

LOL, yea Shag, same idea different way of explaining it. Great minds think alike.:toast:
Glad to see your OK SV, we haven't heard from you in a while. Hope you can get some time to eventually play with the glass tubes.

Sorry I've been slacking with work on this. The rebuild of the wizard atomizer coupled with the adjustable high voltage mod has been working so flawlessly that I've not bothered with anything else.:vapor: I plan on doing the same modifications to a few more wizards and distributing them to some local folks that I've converted from analogs.

I'll be out of commission for the next month or so.:( Have to get some mods done to the ole body, too many years of neglect and bad habits add up over time. Will be checking in when I can to see what's going on.

Know how that goes C...good luck! Maybe you can get them to charge the old batts and replace the old coil with a longer LR one in your stick to give it more shwing.:lol:
Get well my friend...not the same around here without ya....everyone wants to peen me when I instigate!

Nico, looks like you better pick up the slack sir =D

Me?...My ideas never make it off AutoCad before my meds kick in and I fall asleep at the mouse. Dont be shy and get your soldering iron warmed up.:headbang:
