hi, i'm new. you can call me biff. all lowercase, just like that.

i have a game you might like. there's a story you gotta sit through first though. (the prices you pay in this life sometimes...)

my son's girlfriend said at dinner one time that her 2 favorite things are zombies, & the Beatles. we all came up with the idea to start a Beatles cover band, but instead of regular Beatles songs, we would use the word BRAAAINS in place of key words or lyrics of their songs. for instance...

Eight BRAAAINS A Week

you can also use lyrics, or the word ZOMBIE or whatever. i'm not very rulesy. hehe.

OK, I'm not a big fan of The Beatles. Their songs are OK, and catchy, but not at the top of my player list. This thread has cursed me. Since I first saw this thread, there has been a song from them everywhere I have gone. At work yesterday, there were multiple songs on multiple radios in multiple offices. Every store I went to was playing The Beatles too. Even the last store that I left about an hour ago, and now I've got "Me-shell, my belle . . . I'll eat you, I'll eat you, I'll eeeeeeat you" stuck in my head.

So funny!! I think the reason I'm not fond of the Beatles is because I had older siblings who played them constantly during my formative years... And now, my 25yo son & his wife LOVE the Beatles and listen to them all the time. I am one of the very very few people who actually liked the BeeGee's movie of Beatles songs...Sgt Peppers Lonely Braaaiins circa 1978.
For some reason, the BGs made quite a few covers of Beatles songs...YouTube - Bee Gees - Sing Beatles

i can never understand what the Bee Gees are saying. & then you know, there was that whole disco thing...

but to each his (or her) own.

i think every band that came out around that time was trying to sound like/be the Beatles.

& good luck on ECF getting the money. i'm not that easy to track down. you don't think i really live in Cabbagetown, do you?
