Any way to figure out if you're allergic to PG without smoking it?

Also the 510 i bought for my husband came with 5 24mg Marlboro flavor and they are a. too high in nicotine and b. really not the best flavor.

is there a way to cut down on the nic?

and can i drop some of the other e-juices on the marlboro flavor to change it? does that even work?

any advice would be great. thanks!

Not that I know of. Maybe some one else can jump in here.

I assume these are the prefilled carts. Sometimes they are nasty or you could have primer fluid on your atty. Blow from the battery connection side of your atty into a paper towel until no more fluid comes out, then drop 2 drops of e-liquid into the center of the atty, insert cart and try again.

is there a way to cut down on the nic?
If you have a bottle of lower nic juice, you could take the filler material out of the cart, rinse under warm water, dry well then put back into the cart and fill with lower nic juice.

Yes, you certainly can do that or do the cleaning of the filler material if the taste is really bad.

any advice would be great. thanks!

Hope this helps.

I would also recommend modding your carts. The polyfill just sucks and doesn't wick very well. You could go with the PTB mod, which seems to work really well with the smaller carts on the 510 or The Ephreheim mod (not sure if I spelled that one right). These will both wick much better than the polyfill, and each has it's own advantages & drawbacks. The PTB takes up basically no room, and is easy to refill, but does require a bit of work to create. There are several variations on this mod, but the best all around is of course the biggest PITA to get right. It's Rholeil's Double Folded/Loosely rolled/frayed PTB plug. Rholeil has posted a how to video. The Ephreheim mod takes up some of your juice space & is hard to top off, but has the advantage of being dead easy. It also works much better on larger carts, which is why I discovered it.The filler is this blue foam used in aquarium filters. Just cut to the size of your cart (no bigger, you don't want it compressed)& shove it in.

I have to post a slight disagreement.

The blue foam does work great, but the size depends on your juice.
If you have thin juice you need to make it wider than the cartridge or it will leak.

I use 70% Johnson Creek juice usually, and it is thin.
I use blue foam cut about 1/4 to 1/3 wider than my cartridge for best results.
