There are many people talking about the ceramic coil, have you tried it?
me either, but i want to have a try.how about u ?I haven't tried it, but a lot of people love it. They're supposed to last longer, and be capable of dry burning to extend life as well.
Thank you, no, lol. I build my coils, and would not be interested in a pre-fab coil tank; especially not with the deeming regs hanging over our heads like the Sword of Damocles. There are, however, some ceramic rod wicks I've had a hankering to try for a while...me either, but i want to have a try.how about u ?
I will wait till the tech evolves. Don't care to wait a few tanks for flavor..
why so juice waste?have u ask the seller?I have 2 vaporesso tanks and coils in my rotation, I have found that they are actually better after a few tanks have been ran through them. The flavor is outstanding, how long the coils last I don't know, haven't changed them yet. The only downside is that they are juice monsters.
Thanx for the link. I have several gennys..Thank you, no, lol. I have never been interested in the traditional Genny. Why would I want a tank guaranteed to leak if it falls over? Especially given there are now available some excellent RTAs with superior flavor capabilities and the now-standard air-over-vacuum wick style. But I recently bought a Turkish made mech/dripper hybrid that has a deck like a traditional Genny, with one post conspicuously higher than the other. It is obviously intended for vertical coils and, in fact, the only photo on their website showing it wicked has it with SS mesh. It's not a big air machine-- I'd say moderate, it is possible to lung hit it-- so I build it as a flavor box. I have even tried mesh wicks in it. I didn't think the flavor was improved enough over rayon to make it worth the effort to build mesh wicks-- possibly because I do not favor juices with complex flavor profiles like bakerys, etc.-- but I do want to try some of those ceramics in it. That would be easier to do that the traditional stainless mesh wick...Thanx for the link. I have several gennys..
I can't swear to it, but I don't thing she meant it wastes juice, but rather it uses a lot. That's more a function of wattage, though.why so juice waste?have u ask the seller?
It doesn't waste or leak juice, just uses more than my nautilus.I can't swear to it, but I don't thing she meant it wastes juice, but rather it uses a lot. That's more a function of wattage, though.
The vicious ant doesn't leak per say. Fluid on build deck but not on your hands.
The Smok pyrex rsst has a plug so no leak.
Definitely prefer 300 ss mesh, solid core. Look forward to the ceramic rods. So,, as good as my Roxy? No.
A genny is another mountain to climb. The more i learn, the luckier i get..
I wouldn't say that a ceramic rod is that much easier then mesh to get running. I did the rods for a long time a few years back and imo they are about the same. For one, you have to be carefull because you can snap them, also the coil needs to be really tight on the rod. You are suppose to prep the wicks by boiling and such before coiling. If you don't get the coil completely tight you just don't get great results and most give up. I used to look with a magnifying glass to look and make sure there were no gaps between the wick and wire. If the gaps were very minimal, then your results would be just ok until oxidation closed those gaps (break in period). I used to heat wire as I made the wrap and had no break in time. Either way it still wasn't that much easier then mesh really but the flavor was incredibleI have never been interested in the traditional Genny. The reason for the more juice is being consumed compared to the Nautilus, is the air flow. The Nautilus has a lot tighter draw, more of a MTL tank and the Vaporesso is close, but not totally, a DTL hitter (sub ohm), and as stated before the higher wattage that is needed. I have the 2 Nautilus's mini and full size, they were my beginner tanks, good flavor, but just didn't help me enough to quit smoking. To to tight of a draw for me, I went to sub ohming, helped me more, and I am a flavor chaser. As I say what ever works to help you quit the smokes the better, each person is different! It doesn't waste or leak juice, just uses more than my nautilus.
