just wanna see if my reasoning is sound before placing an order (ie. please make me believe it is :p)..

i've decided to use 'greenhouse one' -- cheap, fast/cheap international shipping, sample juices.

i've decided to get an ego-t 650mah starter kit -- solid reputation, haven't really heard bad things about it for a beginner. boring and predictable considering i have the budget to get a really nice mod, but i need to start somewhere. 650mah instead of 1000mah for less bulk. tank system because that's where i see myself going with vaping - not _averse_ to dripping or anything else but i just like the idea of filling up and going. maybe that will change and i'll prefer to drip once i've tried everything.

i've decided to get the 31-juice sample pack -- obviously want to try lots of juices. at the beginning of all this i told myself i wouldn't get juice made in china. but whatever, if i die from some funky unregulated chemical it'd be a cool way to go (no disrespect to the chinese - i'm just narrow-minded).

i've decided to get some boge cartomizers (both regular and LR) -- solid reputation amongst all the experienced users. just wanna try it. don't like the idea of the stuffing inside of it, but the supplier i chose doesn't have any of the clearomizer-type devices.

i've decided to get some LR 510 atomizers and drip tips -- to sample all the juices and see how dripping works.

that's about it. my next buy will probably be juices and clearomizers from different suppliers to try out. i hope i haven't made some massive oversight and that the stuff here will last me a few weeks (light smoker @ 5 atomizers, 10 cartomizers, 5 tankomizers, 155ml juice).

thanks to everyone for the help!

Welcome to the 'Where did my money go' club. Sounds like you used some solid reasoning with your decisions and should be good to go for a while. I was a 1 - 1.5 ppd smoker and go through about 15 ml a week but YMMV and of course you may find some of the flavors unvapable to you so that would reduce your mileage as well.

Good Luck

That sounds like you're off to a great start! You may not need any of these, here's some suggestions:

I am currently loving the new dual coil cartomizers because they work very well on the eGo-T (especially w/ USB passthru so you can vape while it charges) and they work even better on "high voltage" mods. When you order next, I definitely recommend grabbing at least one DualCoil Cartomizer and several vendors have 5-packs for around $10.

If you like dripping with the 510 atomizer, 306 atomizers work on 510 connections like the eGo and are not to be missed. Avidvaper.com has 2 Cisco-spec LR 306 atomizers & a drip tip for $20, and although its always a matter of personal preference, you can't really go wrong with that.

Most importantly: Don't be afraid to explore different e-liquids. Most people find that vaping eventually becomes a very different experience than smoking. If vaping replaces all of your cigarettes, many people (myself included) find that their senses of taste and smell improve and change....So many people find they enjoy different liquids throughout the day, and some people find one flavor they absolutely love and rarely vape anything else. Either way, you'll want to find at least one liquid that you like all day, and probably something else to vape when you get tired of the first flavor. It appears from your post that you are off to a good start with 155ml of juice (that will probably last several months at least, but juice has decent shelf life) I would assume that is probably an assortment of smaller bottles and, hopefully different flavors. Watch/read reviews of different e-liquids and be sure to try a few. Nothing determines if you are going to have a good or bad experience with vaping more than finding the liquid that suits your personal tastes. The right hardware setup can be important for ergonomics and making sure you get enough vapor without too much fuss, but the right liquid is the difference between struggling to stay analog-free and finding something that is better than smoking by ANY measure.

I'm not saying it is completely without headaches or the easiest thing ever, but if you can find a hardware/liquid combination that you actually like better than smoking, it doesn't matter if you wanted to quit smoking when it is just the natural consequence of finding and switching to a smoke-free alternative. Everyone smokes for different reasons, so everyone will need a different reason to stop. As long as vaping remains completely customizable, it remains possible for literally anyone to find their reason to stop smoking.

Green House one has good juice, Egos are great altho I would get the 1000mah myself, they are really not that big haven't tried a tank yet maybe someday. Boge cartos are awsome I use 2.0 ohm mostly. I only use attys for testing new flavors you might look into the ATO-mizer, I can't rember the mfg. but they are great, and you can change the coil to about any res. you want .
Great choices!

The difference in "size" of the bigger versions of the eGo is really only a difference in length. I've gotten so used to the 1000mAH w/ USB (having the USB connection makes it a bit longer too) that the 650mAH ego looks w/ a LR306 atty/driptip looks a bit stubby in comparison, but the longer eGo batteries look and feel more like pens or other handheld electronics so IMO in this case size is generally less important than longevity--at least that's what "she" (and **** *****) said.

You might want to consider an Ego passthrough if you're looking at a spare battery. Works like a regular battery, charges with a regular USB cable and you can vape while charging it. :) (But consider using a USB wall wart or even a USB bus to plug it in vs. directly in your computer's USB ports.)

Also nice is the 306 LR atomizer and 306 drip tip. (Not sure if GreenhouseOne carries them). And consider purchasing an Ego cone to go over your cartomizers or 510 or 306 atomizers.

    Good luck with your system.

You may be able to find these a bit cheaper somewhere, but AvidVaper has pretty good prices on each of those suggestions:

I can foresee spending a lot of money of this new hobby...so much out there to try out!

Yup, you will spend a lot of money on this until you find what works right for you. I know I have.
Basically I've settled on two kits: Volt for public use and traveling and a MonkeyboxxVV for home use.
One week's work of research led me to that decision and so far so good...waiting on TomB to build my boxx.

My only suggestion would be to check the price at Liberty-Flights.co.uk (their US shop is popular here for Ego and Riva shopping)

What PG/VG are the juices? I find juices with a lot of VG clog cartos faster. I now use 20% VG or less and of those I find the lighter clearer ones are less likely to leave flavoring sediment which can also clog cartos.

You don't have to spend a lot of money. A lot of us had some fun trying different models and accessories and that can get expensive. If you've already got one of the better kits, you can already start enjoying the savings over analogs.

    Good luck with your MonkeyBoxx.
