So the Decadent Vapour Nightmare continues!!! I stopped vaping my premixed DV juices cuz they tasted like ..... Now I wanted to give them another shot but to my suprise two of the bottles hve little white solid things floating in them....WTF

I originally mixed the bottles with NIC/PEG/DV and after wards I added a mixture of NIC/VG/DV. So I ask the experienced mixers out there who have dabbled with the DV line for help. Also if you have any mixing tips or recipes that would be great too. As of now I do not think I will be buying anymore DYI liquid.

Sorry you're having problems - which flavour are you using? If it's Green Cow, Doppio Espresso or Kola Kick (I'm guessing it will be one of those, given your description), then any white specks will be caffeine crystals. These can tend to precipitate out if the bottles are cooled below the saturation point for any given concentration of caffeine, and it is notably less soluble in VG than in PG.

It's nothing to worry about though - caffeine vaporizes at 235'C, so it's all going to end up in the vapour. If you want it to go clear again, you can pop the bottle in a cup of hot water for 10 mins and it should redissolve, but it's purely a cosmetic effect - I'd just vape it complete with the crystals.

When you mean caffeine crystals are you saying that it actually gives you a buzz?? :p Yeah one of the flavs is Doppio Espresso and the other White Choc. Ill try to see if I can remix it with PEG only. Do you use DV ? I bought Cognac, White Choc and Doppio and so far not having any luck with the mixing flavours...and its not my taste buds cuz i got some premixed juice and their great. Do you have any advice or recipes u care to share? :?:

Yeah, that sounds a bit weird. I'd also like to know.

Yep, it gives you a buzz
There's 50mg/ml caffeine in the DE concentrate, and 25mg/ml in the premix (likewise the Green Cow, but twice that in the Kola Kick and the soon-to-be-unleashed Red Bullet :)) It's not a huge quantity, and it's unlikely to add more than the equivalent of a cup or two of coffee to your daily intake even if you vape it all day, but it's enough to give you a noticeable lift (it helps that it's absorbed straight into your blood stream, rather than having to slosh around in a stomachful of other stuff before it's absorbed.)

Yeah one of the flavs is Doppio Espresso and the other White Choc.

The white chocolate won't be caffeine, but it is a flavour that's only partially soluble in glycols, so it louches like Absinthe in water, which will make it look cloudy (Lemon Meringue does this as well. Funnily enough absinthe doesn't louche in PG, but it does in VG or water.)
But don't worry, it's all volatile.
FFR the vanilla concentrates also can sometimes form crystals of vanillin in the bottle if they're exposed to low temperatures (it's a pretty much saturated solution in the Very Vanilla and Vanilla Ice,) but again, nothing to worry about (vanillin vaporizes at 285'C regardless.)
It's sometimes tricky formulating these things to cope with temperatures ranging from an unheated aircraft cargo hold at 30,000ft to the blazing heat of a metal mailbox in tropical climes, but rest assured even any solids you observe are volatile, and will redissolve with a bit of heat.

Ill try to see if I can remix it with PEG only. Do you use DV ?

I make it :2cool:

If you want to recreate the premixed juice exactly, then 15% flavouring (for these and most flavourings, but not Diablo Loco or Menthol!) 10% AG/VG and the rest PG should make a juice that's indistinguishable from the premixed.
But I prefer all PEG-400 mostly (though it performs less well with part-used atties, so I tend to start them off with PEG, and finish them off with VG to max the lifespan. You can mix the 2 of course, if that's easier.)

That is definitely very helpful information and best of all its from the source :2cool: thanks for taking the time.

That is awesome that the coffee flavors have a kick since I usually vape those in the morning  I liked the DV flavors and I am gonna get some more premixed because I don't want to relapse :glare:

Do you have any new flavors in the works we can look forward to? I would personally like to see a flavor reminiscent of "Werther's Original Candy" :2cool: and definitely more tobacco flavors.

Being a canuck your product is not easy to come by as of now so I gotta keep my fingers crossed everytime I send out an order  Keep up the good work :toast:

Well, the caramel has a rather buttery toffee sort of flavour (entirely diacetyl-free I'm pleased to say,) so that might suit you - it certainly has its fans.

Also have dragon fruit (pittaya,) cocoyam (taro,) and Red Bull(et) coming out in the next month or so. Yeah, it turns out some folks actually like that foul artificial strawberry flavour they spike it with, so I finally caved in and formulated a more authentically sickly Red Bull-y flavour than the Green Cow. Caffeinated, naturally - 10% in the concentrate and 5% in the premix. Guarana too (for good measure :).) Sadly taurine isn't volatile, but we can't have everything I suppose.

Will do - and I sympathise. The MHRA over here may soon be giving us the same sort of grief you guys are getting now, but rest assured - if we have to move to a friendlier country to continue to supply you all from, we will ;))
