These coils

I ordered some authenic protank coils atleast that what it said from fast tech and let me say they have a real bad taste to them I have tried 2 out of 5 and both are the same. I took one a loose and the insulater is not the same as my other ones they look almost clear well not exactly clear but a lighter color. Just wondering has anybody else had this problem. they are 1.8 ohms coils and I am using it on my vamo but no matter what wattage I use I still am getting the nasty taste.

There is a newer revision of the Kanger coils out there, I've heard, using silicone instead of rubber for the insulator.

But if it didn't say Kanger, it definitely isn't Kanger.

A lot of people soak new coils before use, irrespective of who they're supplied by. I just use hot water and mild washing up liquid.

Does your vamo have RMS/Mean mode? if so you might want to change it to RMS mode as Mean mode is just that MEAN!

I have a vtr, 134 all them had the nasty taste with the new coils. They are in a KANGER box just trying to figure out what's wrong. They suppose to be 1.8 but they are all over the place first was 2.0 2nd was 2.5 I have not tried any out of the 2nd box I ordered 10 coils.

It has NO1 and N02 its suppose to be on N02 right?

I usually soak new coils in hot water for an hour then lay them out to dry before using. I dont know what you paid for them at ft but discountvapers sells a 5pack for 6.99, authentic kanger.

Yes N02. If thats ok then it just might be the coils as i have heard about other people having problems. Learn to rebuild them with cotton or hemp and a micro coil, you would be better off.

Yea that's what I have done with 2 of them I use organic cotton with 30 gauge. I might end up doing this to most of them if not all.
