I didn't know this. Thanks Cecilia.

The way ProVape Inc started was two former software design coworkers got together and created a gaming company.

After a few years, one of the co-owners who smoked discovered electronic cigarettes and thought "Huh, I bet we can make a more functional e-cig with a longer battery life." (this was when there were only pen-style e-cigs on the market like the 801 and 510). Thus, the ProVape 3.7 volt e-cig was born.

A few months later they sat down again and thought, "What if we could make an even stronger e-cig where the user can control the strength of the vapor production?" At this point, they put their heads together and called upon the resources they had to create a variable voltage device with a military spec circuit board. After months and months of planning and designing, the ProVari was born in Washington State.

<sarcasm>Well, that sucks... Where do I sign up for the ex-Apple employee PV?</sarcasm>

That is really cool! Nice to find a little background on the company.

If an ex-apple employee had designed it we would be paying $300.00!!

Yeah, but if it were designed by Apple, it would be 1/2 the size, 1/3 the weight, have 5 times the battery life, you could control it from your iPhone with a REALLY slick app,, it would be GPS enabled so you would never misplace or lose it, and you wouldn't have to click through a gazillion serpentine menus just to change the voltage...

And would have a proprietary connection that would only accept Apple carts & attys, that would only let you load juice through a buggy proprietary software that thought it could make sure you paid for it first.

Of course, they'd sell an Ego Emulator, so you could actually vape the business class juice that the rest of the world runs on.

But it would not accept a 510 conections due to the Apple only atty threads.....

And that gps would function with apple maps so it'd tell you your pv was on mainstreet when really it would be in in your couch.

And the battery wouldn't be removable so you'd have to send it in for a month to be changed out when it dies.

And by the time you got it back you'd need a 40$ adapter to use the old charger.

And it'd take 60 seconds to turn it on. ;)

I took a bite out of your apple. :p Sorry.
